Wow what a fantastic place

Wow what a fantastic place. I was concerned when booking due to the price but it was worth every penny. We were in awe from the minute we walked in and my 6 year old went on everything in the park. We listened to a story, made crafts, went on zip wires and slides, climbed into the trees and went on a boat ride.
Couldn’t ask for more from a day out in my opinion. Can’t wait to go again

If it's a wet day go elsewhere

We had saw this place as we were passing one day and found a leaflet and the kids 5 and 12 wanted to go. Paid nearly £90 for 2 adults and 2 children. As we were leaving home we noticed there was a yellow warning in place for thunderstorms and heavy rain. We went anyway hoping we would miss the bad weather. Unfortunately this was not the case, the rain was torrential. The rather miserable girl at the entrance said the park was still open but slides were closed due to the rain. Kids were very disappointed but we went in anyway as the tickets were non refundable and you couldn't transfer them to another date. Went to the story telling part but benches were soaking so couldn't sit down. Went to go on the boat but rain was too bad so went to the structures in the trees but my 5 year old kept slipping and hurting himself so decided to call it a day. No meet and greet characters to be seen just a bunch of staff in raincoats standing chatting under the trees. Overall a complete waste of money. I think that when adverse weather conditions are forecast tickets should be transferrable to another day. Went home with 2 extremely disappointed children.

I went there yesterday

I went there yesterday
Had a very bad experience
They made me pay for my daughter who is under 92cm but because she was wearing wellies so they said I have to pay for her
But she even couldn’t go on any thing extra because her band colour was yellow
Too much ticket price
I won’t recommend this place

Lantern parade experience

I recently attended the lantern parade that, quite honestly, left much to be desired. While the idea of a night filled with glowing lanterns sounds enchanting, the overall execution fell flat, making it an underwhelming experience.

First and foremost, the lack of variety in activities was a significant letdown. The lantern-making was a highlight we looked forward to, but to my dismay, this aspect was practically nonexistent. Instead, we found ourselves given a cheap paper lantern to wander through a sparse area with few engaging attractions. The absence of hands-on experiences or interactive stations made the entire event feel stagnant and uninspired.

Next, the characters that were supposed to add some charm to the festival turned out to be quite dull. Whether it was due to poor character design or a lack of engaging performances, they failed to create the whimsical atmosphere one would expect at such an event. Instead of feeling immersed in a magical world, I found myself feeling more disconnected and uninterested.

To make matters worse, the food and drink offered at the parade were surprisingly expensive, which is often the case at these types of events. However, the high prices would have been easier to swallow if the quality and variety were commendable. Unfortunately, the options were limited and the offerings bland. I left feeling robbed, both in terms of my wallet and my appetite.

Overall, this lantern festival felt more like a missed opportunity than the magical evening it had the potential to be. With minimal activities, lackluster characters, and overpriced refreshments, I walked away disappointed. I have no intention of returning to this lackluster lantern parade. Save yourself the time & money on something more worthwhile, I'd recommend seeking out alternative festivities that truly capture the spirit of Halloween.

A Place Kids Can Run Wild.

At nearly £65 for 2 adults and a 4 year old I was a little concerned that this place would be overpriced and not worth the money but I thankfully was proved wrong. My son at great time climbing, running and exploring this massive place. If you’re looking for somewhere to take your kids for them to run wild and burn off some energy then this place is for you and the kids.

You can easily go at opening time and stay until closing, you can bring a packed lunch and find one of the many picnic tables or eat at one of the Munch Huts.

If you or your little ones need a rest then there’s storytelling or the craft events to attend for a little break.

So while it may seem a little expensive I’d highly recommend a day here as it’s worth every penny with lots to do and the staff are super friendly and helpful. My son will no doubt want to go back in the near future and I’ll have no problem taking him.
