I really enjoyed the program in Seoul. The events were great and you got to immerse yourself in the Korean culture. The communicators were so kind and always ready to help out when help was needed.
The internship was amazing and helped me gain a lot of experience. I truly couldn't have wished for a better company.

I had an incredible experience with my internship through Beyond Academy in NYC. The opportunity allowed me to gain valuable experience and skills in the film industry, collaborate with a talented team, and expand my skills in video production and editing.

Being in such a dynamic city like New York pushed also me to grow both professionally and personally, and I was able to make valuable industry connections. The internship helped improve my understanding of myself and what I want to do with my career, and I am grateful for the support and guidance I received from Beyond Academy!

I thoroughly enjoyed my Beyond Academy experience. My internship was very successful, and helped me gain valuable experience. Beyond Academy provided me with a spacious and clean apartment in a nice area, strategically located close to my office. The weekly Beyond Academy events made it easy for me to make new friends and discover areas in London I likely would not have found on my own. Additionally, if I needed any assistance, it was easy for me to contact Beyond Academy on Whatsapp, which made me feel more comfortable to be in a foreign city in my own.

I love that communication with beyond was easy and efficient. I also liked that there were opportunities to reach out to other beyond members and make more connections.

Was insane as an experience. My professional and personal growth had sky rocketed in the 2 months I was with my company. It was mix of adventure and business where I did everything I imagined and also things I thought I would never do ( it’s a lie because I never think haha). Incredible is a word I would use for all aspects of it night life, people, culture and Food

These past six weeks have helped me develop my career as well as end my internship with greater clarity on the direction I aim to go in. The social activities Beyond Academy offered were excellent, and very memorable, fun experiences. Overall, I have had a wonderful time with Beyond Academy!

I really enjoyed the community that Beyond Academy provided during my time in Barcelona. Leticia, our coordinator, was wonderful and I’ll remember this experience forever. They really set up events that immersed us in culture in Barcelona and taught us about the city we were staying in. I can’t wait to go back to visit!

The program was very well organized and the best part was the events planned by brooklyn, so much fun!

Before I decided to book an internship experience abroad with Beyond Academy, I had never heard of them before. However, after completing my 6 week program in Barcelona, I will be forever grateful that I decided to book with BA! Leticia, our program coordinator was the kindest person and welcomed each and every one of us with open arms! I had an incredible Summer exploring Barcelona, making new friends, working and creating memories that will last forever. I was able to grow and change so much during this past summer all thanks to the wonderful people of Beyond Academy! I highly recommend!

The community I got lucky enough to meet really made the experience! I had an amazing coordinator who I became very close with! The internship I got was an amazing learning experience and I ended up getting a job from it! Overall the culture in Barcelona is amazing and I fell in love with it! Truly a great learning experience and overall a very fun trip!!

I’d like to give a huge thanks to Beyond Academy for giving people such an amazing opportunity to study/work abroad in dream locations and really help to broaden perspectives.
I’m so glad I got to work with Beyond because they really put their all into welcoming me into a totally different world safely. They also helped land me an internship where I got to learn so much about the industry and dive even deeper into it.
Least to say, everything went smoothly and I’d even say that amazing is an understatement for this entire experience.

The program was great and I had a lot of fun during my 6 weeks stay. The activities were well organised and good mix of a lot of fun and an insight into the culture. They took great care helping me find the right company for my wants and interests and I was so happy with the company and the experience they provided me with.

Entering Beyond Academy, I felt a bit apprehensive. However, I can confidently say that it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Beyond Academy not only helped me forge new friendships and connections, but also provided me with invaluable experiences. While I believe my specific program could have benefited from a stronger scientific focus rather than a marketing one, I still found my time here to be extremely worthwhile. Also, Brooklyn (The area coordinator) is amazing. For this being the first year that Beyond Academy has been an Amsterdam, I would consider it a success.

I went to Seoul for a marketing internship, which was my first choice industry. Like a lot of people before me have stated, for Seoul at least, it’s more of a great program for the people rather than a leveling up professional experience. I really, really enjoyed my time. I was lonely only once, and that was on my first night. Literally the next day I was introduced to so many people, and I had an incredible time. Professionally, it’s what you make of it. You have to be realistic, if you barely speak the language you are not going to go far (unless you do fashion or photography), but most interns went on company trips and conventions so there was still stuff to be gained. I think if you’re deciding on either a work abroad or study abroad, do work. While you are doing, like, 6-8 hrs of monotonous work (haha…), I was lucky and got an amazing work experience with my colleagues who tried really hard to make sure I was included and were always introducing me to new things about Korea. I would NOT have gotten that with yonsei’s international summer school. This is a great networking opportunity and also showcases how flexible you are- the independence gained is also a huge component. It’s an awesome internship experience all around, and I highly recommend it! It is what you make of it!

I had a great experience in New York with beyond academy. I really enjoyed getting to work at a law office and have hands on experience in the field. The coordinators were super helpful and nice and I really enjoyed all the events. I would love to have an opportunity like this again and I’m really glad I did it!

I highly recommend Beyond if you’re looking not only to gain work experience in your field of study but also to experience a new city! During my two-month internship in London, I gained significant insights into my career path, met many wonderful people, and was really able to immerse myself in the London experience . I emerged from the experience much more confident and independent, with memories that will definitely last a lifetime.

Beyond is great at organising events and is extremely helpful when you reach out to the team with any concerns or queries.

However, keep in mind that most of the internships are unpaid, so budget accordingly. Additionally, I suggest finding accommodation close to your internship, especially in a larger city, as commuting can be time-consuming.

I had a great time in Amsterdam through Beyond Academy. They planned a bunch of different activities each week and Brooklyn was super nice and funny.

Brooklyn was amazing at getting everyone settled and welcome. The events she planned were so much fun and brought people together quickly.

Beyond Academy is an excellent organization for gaining experience in your field of study while exploring new parts of the world.During my two-month stay in London, I grew more independent, gained clarity about my future career path, and where I can see myself living. I made valuable connections and discovered many exciting places, including Cambridge, the shopping streets, vibrant markets, parks, delicious bakeries, and world-class theaters and museums. I loved my time in London, and Beyond Academy made it easy to settle into a new home for the summer. I would also say that the Beyond team communicates well with the interns. One thing I would say is that I did have to travel quite far from my internship, and if I did this experience again, I would try and find my own accommodations.
