Through Beyond South America, I volunteered for 10 weeks in Bolivia at a great project with children. Everything was very well arranged and Spanish classes were also offered. I had 80 hours of Spanish and the classes were well put together. The communication between me and the organization was very good. A host family was arranged for me and I was picked up from the airport. If there was anything, I could always contact the organization. I had a really great time in Bolivia, thanks in part to Beyond South America!

I stayed at Casa Juntucha for más o menos 3 months. I also took 80 hours of Spanish lessons here. I experienced both as amazing and i would definitely choose to come here again when i visit Bolivia. The atmosphere in the house was really pleasant with a beautiful garden and nice rooms. The staff is also really friendly and will always help you when needed. It is located in a nice, quiet and safe neighbourhood not too far from the city center. I felt safe while staying at the casa.

I am writing to highly recommend Casa Juntucha for anyone seeking a unique and enriching stay in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I spent three months at Casa Juntucha while participating in a volunteer project in agroforestry just outside of town, and it was an incredible experience.

During my stay, I had the pleasure of taking 10 intensive half-day Spanish classes at the in-house language school. The teachers are all wonderful and very experienced. The instruction was thorough, engaging, and tailored to my learning needs, making the classes both effective and enjoyable.
Casa Juntucha offers excellent boarding facilities. The house itself is charming, with a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The garden is a beautiful, serene space that provided a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. The two super nice dogs and Tiny the cat just made it perfect.

The people at Casa Juntucha are wonderful. The hosts and fellow residents were incredibly supportive and kind, fostering a sense of community that made my stay even more enjoyable. I made lasting friendships and felt truly integrated into the local culture and daily life.

The neighbourhood is nice and safe, with plenty of small tiendas, restaurants and markets within walking distance. It was the perfect blend of peaceful residential living with relatively easy access to Cochabamba’s city center by Trufi, a collective taxi taking you downtown in about 15m.

Casa Juntucha also offers great facilities, including a well-equipped common kitchen, a washing machine, and reliable WIFI. These amenities made my day-to-day living convenient and comfortable, allowing me to focus on my volunteering work and studies without any worries.

Overall, my experience at Casa Juntucha was exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and enjoyable stay in Cochabamba. Whether you're there to study, volunteer, or simply explore the region, Casa Juntucha is the perfect place to call home!

It is very easy to feel at home and fully taken care of with this company. I had a lovely time and would always want to come back!

I spent 2 months living in Casa Juntucha. I loved it, I felt really welcomed there. The house has a great atmosphere and it’s beautiful to spend time there, I would always like to come back. The garden is really nice, also with the dogs (which were sometimes there) was such a nice feeling. There is alsways somebody to help you out if you need something or if you have questions, or if you just want to talk :)
The people are great!
I did a volunteering in the south of the city, the organisation accompanied me good to get to know the project.
I can only recommend you to go there.

I spend almost half a year at this great place. I love it and would always like to come back. There is a very nice garden with a lot of plants. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The kitchen is super bien as well. Also the Spanish classes are great and very helpful. There is always someone who helps you ore just listen to you if you have any questions ore just need to talk about something. People are all very nice and helpful. I did a volunteer in an agricultural project, which was a great experience and very good organized as well. Thanks a lot Casa Juntucha i hope to come back one day! With love Rosi

I spent 2.5 months living in Casa Juntucha and I loved it from beginning to end.
The house is super cozy and colorful, the rooms are adapted to everyone, the volunteers are lovely and the atmosphere is amazing!
The Spanish classes are great, especially thanks to the teachers who make them personal and practical.
The contact is made through WhatsApp and is really easy, the employees from Beyond South America are the nicest and are always here to help and answer all your questions.
I would recommend 100% and will definitely come back one day!
My time in Bolivia was better and felt safer thanks to them

Hey I'm Finja from Germany and I spent 5weeks with beyondsouthamerica.
It was a great time! The organization makes every effort, from the beginning till the end! The preparations ran via video calls or WhatsApp and with a lot of patience. Every question was answered.
They offer a great package. You are picked up at the airport, you get a city tour and everything else important is also shown. Casa Juntucha is very cozy and you meet other volunteers there. You feel very safe and comfortable there.
Also the "workers" from the organization keep in touch with you constantly. They ask how you feel, how everything is going etc.
They truly care about you.
I've heard a lot of bad reviews for volunteering but I have to say those 5 weeks I spent in Cochabamba volunteering and learning spanish in the Casa Juntucha had been great! I've grown, I've learned a lot and I've made great new contacts!
To everybody who thinks about volunteering in South America should definitely contact beyondsouthamerica!

I spent one month living at the volunteerhouse Casa Juntucha and I loved my time here. The rooms are really comfortable and the atmosphere in the house is super chilled.You will meet other volunteers and travelers here ,so you never will feel lonely and will make new friends . I volunteered at a project called with children who s parents are in prision. The project is really lovely. I helped the kids with their homework and played games with them. So you if you enjoy spending time with kids, I definitly can recomend you to choose that project. It is a really familiar atmosphere. Beyond South America will support you all the time at your stay. No matter what problem you will have.I struggled with my health, so they accompanied me to the hospital and helped me with a lot of other questions and minor problems.There is always someone who you can ask for help.
The City of Cochabamba also is very nice. With good weather all the time and a lot of things to do. So I definitly can recomend you to come over to Bolivia with Beyond South America.
