Shop drawings were not prepared…
Shop drawings were not prepared properly and the installation of a handrail resulted in very heavy exposed blocking behind the brackets that was not accounted for and does not look very attractive.

Doug, appreciate the feedback! We are really good at building and installing stairs and rails, but sometimes not so great a drawing them. Safety and stability of a handrail system does unfortunately have to take a back seat to aesthetics at times. We are really sorry that this is the first we are hearing of the missed expectations. Thank you again for the feedback.

Highly Recommend (from an Architect & Interior Designer)
As the Principal of Anderson Design Group, Architects-Planners-Interior Designers, we highly recommend Blooming Grove Stair Company to all of our Commercial and Residential clients. In addition to using them for the custom stairs and railings at our historic corporate offices, I have used them at my personal residence. Their courteous and professional staff have worked with us on numerous difficult stair and railing designs to bring the design concepts to reality. Blooming Grove Stair's workmanship is of the highest level, and their stairs and railings consistently are the centerpiece of each completed project. I highly recommend them.
