This lender appeared on my Credit Karma as "Karma Guarantee" for approval. Most lenders had an offer for me within minutes. BHG took weeks. I had waited for BHGs offer because the initial "quote" that was advertised had a lower rate than the others. When I finally got a quote weeks later it was the highest. I should've negotiated. Anyhow, after all that long time waiting for just a quote the approval process took at least another week, then it took several weeks for the funding. What's worse, after all that, I got the funding and wouldn't you know, they have no online access to view or pay your loan. If you want to make changes or even add extra to your payment you have to call and speak to an agent. How does any bank these days not have a way to view and manage your account online these days? Overall, I wouldn't recommend this lender at all.



It took about 3 days to get approved for my loan. Everything was straightforward and easy. Communication was great.

My contacts (primarily Rob) were highly responsive, helpful, proactive. The application and approval process were relatively straightforward. Appreciate that the loan balance does not contribute to revolving debt reporting. My only critique is that following loan approval there is no convenient loan portal to view recurring payments, paydown progress on the loan etc., which in this specific regard puts BHG behind competitors. I would still recommend to others because other perks outweigh this downside.

f you are a startup founder, medical professional, or business owner looking for capital, run the other way. I
took out a commercial loan with Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG Financial) back in November 2021. For nearly
5 years, my business has maintained an absolute 100% perfect, unblemished payment record. My personal
credit score is over 800. Our business is now highly successful and cash-flow positive. Yet, BHG is holding us
hostage under an archaic 13.99% rate.
We have tried multiple times to execute a routine commercial refinance to transition the loan entirely to the
business entity and remove our personal guarantees based on our current strong numbers. BHG's internal
operations are so thoroughly broken and fragmented that they literally cannot process a standard refinance.
Instead, their sales team repeatedly runs it as a 'new business application,' spits out a generic, automated
rejection letter, and then completely stonewalls you. If you call them, the entry-level reps admit that their
departments are totally blind to one another: payment processing doesn't speak to customer service, and sales
doesn't speak to servicing. They refuse to let you speak to a supervisor, underwriter, or anyone with
decision-making power. They are nothing but an automated application-harvesting machine that abandons their
clients once the initial loan is closed. I am currently filing formal regulatory complaints with the FDIC and the
Texas Attorney General. Do not entangle your business with this operational nightmare.

The whole process with BHG was quick and easy. Lauren Ross who was our rep did a fantastic job communicating from the start. I would highly recommend using them for your financial needs!
