Having dealt with Betterhomes for several years, I caution against falling for their enticing advertisements. They do not behave as a partner to you, rather as they are out to get you. It's crucial to read the fine print as their practices demand discipline from tenants while offering 'sincere apologies' for their shortcomings. In my experience:
1. Despite no reminder emails, they swiftly issue a 48-hour eviction notice if your six-month rent isn't deposited, unlike others who send reminders.
2. Their fine print imposes a steep 525 AED charge for any bounced cheque, irrespective of the amount, as I experienced with a 990 AED initial sum, resulting in over 50% in fees. Their justification? A means to discipline renters.
3. When tasked with responsibilities, such as fixing my broken AC, their response time was sluggish, taking 11 days instead of the promised 2. Throughout, I endured the Dubai heat with mere 'sincere apologies' offered for the inconvenience caused.

A wonderful experience with Samantha

Buying a home in Dubai felt like a wild ride until I met Christie and Kerriann. These two are absolute gems! Christie knows the Dubai property scene like the back of her hand, and Kerriann is the queen of details – nothing gets past her.

A happy customer, left Betterhomes this morning clutching a signed SPA for California Village.
After many months of searching for a property in Dubai, and far too many meetings with agents that failed to match up to their promises, we were fortunate enough to connect Monish Bakhru at Betterhomes.
