Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful
We went to watch madness, went in perfectly fine, stood in the crowd and the security came over and kicked my dad out when all he was doing was chatting to some people. Me and my partner defended my dad and then they wouldn’t let us back in. Very annoyed as we travelled from the IOW paid a lot of money. They won’t give us a refund because we went in the venue. Disgusting behaviour

The BIC is a great place just dodgy beer

The BIC is a great place and the Staff are great. I could not find anywhere to mention this so `I have put it here. I bought a beer and it had what I can only believe to be Line cleaner in it. I had to take it back then got another from a different pump which was better. The staff then did say few other people had complained that the Peroni tasted funny. I think they should have dealt with it as that could make people very sick.

Waited online for 2.5 hrs for Peter Kay tickets to open- I’m ok with that. Stayed glued to my screen as clock ticked down - in! - every time I ‘continued’ the page froze for 1.5 minutes - just entering my card number & ten minute time limit cut me off! Totally rubbish website under pressure! Couldn’t get back in the queue.

Went and watch a show and while parked in the pavilion car park my car was hit. Despite several attempts to contcat the theatre, and reporting it to the police (waste of time) to see if there is any CCTV no one at the Pavilion has had the common decency to email or speak to me.

Wont be buying tickets there again

Unsafe and security officers don’t offer help or support

Since I am unable to find a complaints email address for yourselves.

I want to make a formal complaint following on from an incident which took place at around 22:15 this evening.

My boyfriend and I were in the foyer of the BIC at the merch stand after attending the Biffy Clyro concert and he was sexually assaulted by another man. This man slapped him on the bum, winked at him and said “what’s up big boy?”. My boyfriend then told me about this and I went to go and speak to one of your security officers about this.

However, around 4 other security officers then came over because they could see that I was upset and distressed about this situation when explaining it to the first security officer. However, not one of your security officers properly addressed this, despite the man who sexually assaulted my boyfriend still being at the merch stand.

I was told by one of your security officers that they would “speak to the manager”, but it genuinely felt like they didn’t care and weren’t going to address this either. Aren’t your security officers there for safety? Did they just act like this because this happened to a man and not a woman? Why did none of them help? I specifically spoke to your security officers because I thought they would help and address the situation, but they did nothing.

I also told your security officers that I wanted to raise this for the safety of others too, but they all just stood around us and acted like nothing had happened.

I want this to be formally looked into and investigated and for this to be raised as a formal compliant.

I look forward to hearing your response.

Terrible and Unsafe

We recently attended the Four Tops and the Temptations show on 7th October. My daughter had purchased us front row seats as these are the most comfortable, have the best views and are easily accessible. It was a huge shock on the night when the stewards opened the barriers and let everyone come from behind us to stand in front of the seats, there was no health and safety consideration here, people were pushing and standing all over each other. If there was a medical emergency you would not have been able to get out to seek treatment. We've been loyal customers of the BIC for years but I'd never go back now. Why charge more for front row, unrestricted views, when you cannot offer this?! Terrible service indeed.

great service!

Booked tickets for James Blunt, unfortunately due to covid this was postponed for the second time two weeks before the show.. for two weeks later. We were coming from Yorkshire so there was no way we would get a hotel at such short notice.
Called up to cancel my tickets, expecting a long and drawn out process, to get "AW love! I am so so sorry, that's heartbreaking! Aw, well hopefully next time you'll chose us for another concert, when it all goes back to normal!"
I had my refund within 12 hours, absolutely brilliant! I will definately be booking with them in future!

For “quaint old”read not spent a penny on in years

Went to see 10cc, the band was better than I expected the venue was antiquated and uncomfortable. The seats and I had a “premium seat”were cramped and the spaces between the seats had binoculars in them that prevented you from placing your knees there. I asked if they could be removed but was told briskly and firmly that they had been there for years. I replied so have the seats. Exactly why you need binoculars to see the stage from a premium seat is beyond me. What was needed instead was a magic wand to disappear the sea of heads blocking my vision to the stage The people in front of the people in front all started leaning to the left so they could see the band ( premium seats) this had a knock on effect so that your already uncomfortable seat got worse as you counter leaned to try and see the band. The staff at the desk are rude! The covid Marshall was getting drunk on the balcony outside no body appeared to care. Eventually I stood up in the aisles with the other taller people. In all the years I have lived in Bournemouth I never visited this venue before and it is more than possible that I may never again visit it. This is however the second time I have visited a BH live event and the first one was a disaster of their own making with a flooding beach cancelling the highlight of the event and no refunds. Bunch of grifters taking premium money for old tatty seats and foreseeable outcomes they care only about the money not the experience. They remind me of the pikeys that had a Christmas event up at hurn with cigarette smoking elf’s and a dodgy Santa that was out on parol that still charged premium money for a muddy field with no reindeer

Just had the most helpful experience…

Just had the most helpful experience booking tickets. The booking administrator could not have been more helpful. He took time to explain our options and was honest about viewing restrictions. He was extremely patient. He even called us back when the call failed. Good customer service should be recognised.

Attended the 10cc concert in the…

Attended the 10cc concert in the Pavilion, a very uncomfortable experience, the sound desk wasn’t right but not awe full, but the seating in the Pavilion is appalling, tired, small, I spent the entire concert with my hips being painfully forced between the two metal arms of my seat. After 50 years, I wanted to capture some pictures and short amateur video of the concert, im unlikely to be able to see these guys again but was stopped by theatre staff, it used to only be prevented if using professional kit, I complained after as the support act which was excellent, said we could video. The theatre said there was confusion amongst their team, some allowed it some didn’t , most didn’t really know. My evening however was ruined.the theatre has marvellous ambiance but the team running it needs to be trained. The seats are the worst ever and not worth the £90 I paid to be assaulted by horrible metal small framed seats. Bournemouth council if you are going to continue to sell this as a premium venue with pricing such as this then you need to sort the seats urgently. I won’t return for sure. The gents toilets cubicle I was in had no access to paper, the machine had paper, you just couldn’t get it to dispense it! A ridiculous and embarrassing start to an awful evening.

The show was awesome

The show was awesome, the theatre is good, but there was no mention of needing a Covid passport before we arrived. Then after the show we discover the multi storey adjoining the BIC has a fixed show charge of £10, talk about profiteering people pay enough for show tickets without being ripped off for parking. Not happy 😡😡

The worst

Brought tickets early as a gift for my mother. Only to find the money had been taken and no tickets verified. I called and emailed them for weeks only to find thier ticketing system was being changed over and although I had made payment, I had no tickets. Then chased them for weeks after as there phone lines are a nightmare to contact anyone, only to find I have no tickets and a very long delay to get my payment back. No apologies no nothing. It's basically my own fault for using your website during a system upgrade.

Thank you BIC Bournemouth I won't be using you again. Buy your tickets else where.
