So..

So... if something looks too good to be true...

Took the $17 introductory bonus and invested it. Got back £17.60. All good so far.

Invested $100, for an $8 return. Again, all good.

Invested $500, for a $39 return. Once again, all good.

I'd heard tales of how, if you invest $1,000 or more they lay on a bunch of 'contract conditions' to stop you withdrawing your own money. Decided to stick with the $500 contracts to try to duck under this.

Anyway, after a few weeks of running repeated $500 contracts, building up profit slowly but surely, I get a sudden $1,000 'Other' amount added to my balance. I think, all right, now I can withdraw my original stake, leave my exposure at zero, this must be a bonus, right?

So I try to withdraw my original stake. Get a message that says 'Your withdrawal has been unsuccessful, please contact customer services'.

So I do, and I'm advised that $1,000 was sent to my account 'by unknown parties' and looks suspicious, and by trying to use those funds (to withdraw my original stake) I was in violation of terms and conditions.

Then they tell me I need to deposit another $1,000 to my account to reinstate my ability to withdraw funds. And did I?

Did. I. Bunnies.

If you're thinking of trying this, please take my account into account. In retrospect, I wouldn't touch this site with a bargepole strapped to another bargepole.

PS, if you go down this route, you'll notice the contract number you take out is always sequentially next up from the last one you took out. Presumably no-one else on the Internet is taking out any of these contracts. Also, keep an eye on the % uptake counter of the contract you go for - doesn't change after you buy it.

I'm out about 330 bucks, hope I can spare you from the same.
