I bought my husband the beer advent calendar as part of his Christmas present which he absolutely loved. He looked forward to trying each one. Each beer was different and each one was enjoyed.

I’d seen the Bier company advert calendar advertised for a few years running but had always opted for other brands. This year however, I was a bit late to order a calendar, so found my options limited. I decided to go with Bier Company, after all I’d seen the advent calendar get a good review in GQ, so it must be pretty good right?
I ordered a few days in to December and to my delight the calendar came really quickly. The quality of the calendar itself was very impressive and well-made with thick glossy cardboard. So I was pretty excited by just what the beer selection inside was going to be like. The contents were surely going to be of the same quality right?
Wrong. The beers inside were a huge let down compared to previous, cheaper calendars I’ve bought. There were 5 or 6 from the same brewery, at least 4 beers that I could’ve picked up from the local supermarket and I would say about 20 were the same or similar style, pale ale or IPA. There was nothing that gave the wow factor but plenty that I felt were simply not good enough for a beer advent calendar that cost £85.
The beers were such a let-down that I didn’t even bother to open the last three days of windows until after New Year, and they were as disappointing as I expected, two I could buy at my local supermarket and to finish, the 5th or 6th can from the same brewery. To be fair, the socks are fine, the glass is fine and the three small packets of snacks were fine too, but to my mind, nothing in this calendar represented the higher price point.
Effort has clearly gone into the packaging, but the main point about a beer advent calendar is the variety and quality of the beer and that is where this product has been such a huge disappointment. I couldn’t recommend this product at this price and certainly won’t be purchasing another one this year.

Really unique selection of beers for someone who absolutely enjoys their beer! Bought it as a Birthday gift for my boyfriend and he loved every single can! The box was great value for money as it came with 8 cans and as we all know beer is not cheap so, really happy with that. Will definitely order from the company again in the future. 😄
I’ve been a fan of this company for a few years as I always buy these gifts for my husband. He love the different tastes and the box you get is fun!

Great variation of beers, good service and always delivered on time
Ordered a ‘Dad gift box’ for a Xmas present on next day delivery on the 21st December, it arrived yesterday the 28th! I contacted customer service who said any orders placed after 2.30pm would be delivered on the 28th, however there was no message or warning of this when ordering and if that’s the case don’t offer next day delivery as a purchase option! Very disappointing.

I have ordered from you previously and been very happy with your service and delivery, however i oredered a package for xmas for my Brother and it arrived prompt and in tact! But in just a card board box, which i opened thinking it would then be in a presentation box to give my brother as a gift, as when I'd previously purchased it was! But not this time, great gift but disappointed on the packaging!!
Unfortunately I made the mistake of buying the advent calendar, it is more expensive than most others, lack of quality beers and a lot of them you cab buy in supermarkets for cheaper.
Overall I can't say I was impressed with one of the beers in the calendar, some where also repeated.
It seems most of the money went on the packaging of the advent calendar rather than the beers.

Received a really nice, well presented package for Christmas 2 years ago and thought I would buy something similar for my brother’s birthday, only to receive basically the exact opposite. A pack of 8 contained 4 duplicates, 2 damaged cans, 1 covered in something sticky and the box could not have been more bland. Looks like the company are prioritising volume sold over the customer experience which is incredibly disappointing.

Had damaged tins in my packages don’t know if it’s from the warehouse or how it was delivered. Tins split and lost all contents. Still not sure if I should’ve paid for postage as a member of the beer club
