I came to Serena for support with my sons Maths and English. His SATS were approaching and his school had said he would fail everything. She took on the challenge and my son has thrived in both Maths and English. Thank you for all your hard work with him.

My children join the Big Fun Genius Tuition in less than 6 months and there has been alot of improvement.

Serena is such a great teacher the kids loves her so much and always looking forward to lessons.

My daughter now has improved in concentration and focusing which she was struggling with before she now can answer Maths/English SAT past questions confidentially and spellings getting better.

My son on the other hand has improved with some Maths topics like decimals and fractions.

I am so pleased with how Serena interacts with the children and how she makes sure the kids understands a particular tasks and she gives homework and there is also a SATs whiz program for kids to practice which is so helpful.

Serena is an absolutely amazing tutor! The service that she provides is excellent, right from the initial meeting we had before starting the tutoring to establish what my son’s needs and difficulties were, to the end of the tutoring, when she held an awards ceremony to commend the children for their hard work with their SATs.

Serena works very hard to ensure every child understands what they’ve been taught/what they don’t understand before leaving the class, even staying behind class to work individually with children for 1-2-1 support.

Her classes are very interactive and not like others, which are almost lecture-style. She uses quizzes and questions to test the children on what they’ve learnt during and at the end of the class, and she uses the results of these quizzes to tailor her teaching towards knowledge/skills gaps.

Serena really helped my son in preparation for his SATs and I would definitely recommend her for any children studying towards their SATs.

Layton enjoys the sessions a lot. Serena went above and beyond to get my son up to speed and beyond in a matter of a few months. So glad we found bfg, layton always leaves the lessons feeling stimulated and so confident in both Maths and English compared to before! Son passed SATS with flying colours! Serena has been brilliant with Olivia. She was always behind in class and parents evenings were always difficult. Since being with Big Fun Genius, she has progressed so much to the point she is going up to the front of the class and showing the class how to do the Maths questions. English has also improved massively, she is so much more confident now in class and with homework, she understands the work now without needing my help. Passed SATS with a score of 112 too!!! We got Serena to teach our little one who was preparing for 11+ exams, Serena has this lovely patience with kids and she is so passionate when teaching making sure they understand the process and she always gives them different methods of solving the problems. We all cried when Serena was relocating coz she is an amazing teacher, I would 100% recommend her to other parents and students. Sukanya here- I needed a tutor because I was really struggling with my 3 sciences (biology, chemistry and physics). Serena helps me understand concepts that I struggle to comprehend which is why I recommend her! She always makes sure I understand the topic and gives me questions to help consolidate what I've learnt. She is great at what she does as she makes these lessons enjoyable.

Serena is amazing!!! I’ve been learning Japanese in her classes for 8 months which I really enjoy. She makes the lessons fun, engaging and palatable. She goes into great detail and answers all my questions whenever I struggle in a particular area. I had the pleasure of Serena tutoring me biology throughout my Adult Nursing Degree. I struggled with retaining information that was needed for Exams based on anatomy. She enhanced my knowledge by breaking things down and simplified the topics whilst using my learning style in order for me to fully understand in order to showcase my knowledge within assignments and exams.
She is extremely professional and came prepared to all sessions with a learning outcome which was always met without fail. Serena tutored my son for English GCSE after 2 failed attempts. She got stuck in straightaway and helped him with confidence, question analysing and responses and comprehension as he had most difficulty in these areas she pinpointed and targeted them from the start.
Serena was the only one who went above and beyond what was expected of her to help my son get his grade he needed to progress his education.
