Awful Cancellation Experience

Awful Cancellation Experience.
Cancelled within the trial period - lots of pages to go through and then get to a page that says these are your current subscriptions: None
So I think great, that's it. Next month I get a charge and they say oh no you have to do more to cancel it...I asked for my money back as their UI said I had cancelled and I hadn't used the service but they refused.

Geographical limitations

They (not me) cancelled our subscription simply because we spend some of the year in a remote location?? Makes absolutely no sense they claim its because they are not sure the NBN satellite can provide a reliable streaming service - which we are not even using we have cable. Now means cant watch it when back in Melbourne.

Not Remotely User Friendly

I like Binge but dayum there are some serious issues with user experience. Not knowing what you're watching - and not being able to find out - on the live channels is a particular issue as merely genre doesn't cut it.
Lack of available feedback options for your service seems to be a deliberate snub to your subscribers as well.
Apart from that I love the content. Just feels like it was put together by the work experience kid.

Awful Compay, poor service

Cancelled my subscription with 7 day free trial as found the site was terrible. They have charged me after cancellation. Even though I screenshot the cancellation my account is still active. They won't refund or cancel. Each time I submit a complaint it says oops something went wrong!

There's not been one episode that's been a smooth watch.
Each time one of the MANY litany of ads play they buffer and pause. Only solution is then to exit and enter the episode again and re watch MORE ads.

Would give 1 if i could. Did not want it, could never access it and tried to cancel it. There is no contact number and just email support that take many days for a reply. They have now debited and do not want to refund their debit.

Appalling customer service & paying for a service I can’t access!!

Not only is Binge glitchy as hell, in the last month I have been unable to sign into the app. It keeps redirecting me to Hubbl when I log in to Binge App asking for more money to pay for Hubbl yet when I try and log into Hubbl I keep getting errors. Never even signed up to Hubbl yet error says that I can’t log in because my account has the same phone number as my Binge account? WTF!? Binge has no customer support contact number therefore you are stuck with the gruelling email chain of random “customer representatives” on a first name basis only that treat customers like garbage because they can’t be identified or made accountable. Asked for a refund for the one month I have been unable to access the service (and still can’t!). They asked for my personal details. Sent evidence only to receive a response accusing me of accessing my account and they threw my complaint in the bin accusing me of still accessing the service, denied me a refund, and offered no resolution to the problem I continue to experience. Some idiot representatives had no idea what I was talking about, responded with irrelevant subject matter that had nothing to do with my enquiry and had no clue what they were doing! Petty, immature, dumb and unprofessional the lot of them. Bye bye Binge. Not worth the money or the stress. My case has been handed over to Fair Trading so you can deal with them now!

Charged after cancelling

I cancelled my subscription and they charged me next month anyway. A number of emails later, they refused to refund me, so I went direct to my Credit Card company and disputed the transactions to get them refunded, which the Card company advise will be successful. I recommend everyone else do the same given the conduct of Binge. I have also lodged a complaint with the ACCC.

Poor effort and experience

For over a week I have been getting an error message saying I am “Denied Access”.

I keep getting messages “We believe that’s a wrap for your recent enquiry with Binge.” This issue is still ongoing.

Utterly hopeless.

Shady business

Shady business. They don’t cancel when you request and keep debuting money after you cancel subscription. Happened to me, took me six months before I realised and now my son just cancelled his. I told him to check it the following month and sure enough, they haven’t cancelled his either. They should be shut down! When you query why that did not cancel the subscription, they ban you and refuse to respond, even if you are polite about it.

Their unsubscribe link takes you to an account login page, not helpful since I cancelled over a year ago.

Online chat does not respond.

Surely some spend on customer service is expected, even from a crappy app?

Binge reactivated my subscription without my authorisation and stole from me

I cancelled my subscription 18 months ago however Hubbl/Binge decided to start charging me again 6 months ago. I'm the only one with the login details and don't use this streaming service AT ALL so it's impossible that I resubscribed. Binge/hubbl refuse to grant me a refund for the money they've stolen from me. I only recommend binge if you want to get SCAMMED or enjoy being ROBBED.
