I subscribed to 2-screen Binge
That is not a reality, I've tried and tried to get it to share to another screen and Binge make it so difficult to do.
If you can work it out, you must have extraordinary skills because me and the rest of the ordinary people don't know what 'cast' is and so on.

Technology is supposed to make things easier not harder so the nerds running the show need to be informed it has to be easier.

I'll finish this month and that's it.

Streaming to chrome new version - not working.
Closed captions only on first episode of a new series, not accessible at all.
Volume of show itself no good for hearing aid streaming devices - far to quiet.

Bye binge

Thought I'd come back and check binge out again coz they had a $2 a month special. The content is stagnant as hell and it's loaded with ads, and I mean loaded. Apparently it's meant to be 4mins an hour but that is definitely not true. Will be canceling again as it's not even with the loose change.

Very underhanded business practices.

Had a technical issue with the Binge app on my TV. Messaged support and was immediately met with the standard approach of blaming my device and tv.

Explaining that none of my other steaming apps have this issues was ignored.

Customer support staff are just repeating scripted responses that are designed to shift the blame and get the customer to give up and not bother.

Also and this is the kicker, they block the use of Apple Private Relay and treat it as a VPN, you can’t even open their webpage with it on. Apple Private Relay does not and cannot change countries (doesn’t even change states here) so cannot be used to bypass geoblocking. There is no proprietary loss reason to block the private relay. The only reason to block it as vigorously as a VPN is to collect detailed user data for financial gain.

I cancelled my subscription on the spot.

My binge has been coming up with an error

My binge has been coming up with an error for 4 days now. Their technical team just goes around in circles asking the same questions and not actually fixing anything. Their questions are irrelevant, for e.g. they said my internet speed is too low when doing a test on my phone using WIFI (which it wasn't). However, i stated many, many times that my TV is having the issue and that is connected via a ethernet cable, so the speed test is not accurate and useless. They persist to not listen or take any initiative in trying to resolve the issue. I also have Netflix, Disney and prime with no issues at all. I genuinely think they don't know how to fix the error that is stopping me from watching anything on binge. Avoid at all costs.

Pay to watch advertisement

Pay to watch your advertisement.
Not much choice for movie and subtitles. I rather to stick with Netflix. Already Unsubscribe Binge, we will never use it again.

Pay to be forced to watch ads

Disgusting. Pay $10 per month and now forced to watch 3 or 4 ads at a time, multiple times through a 20min show. Can't skip them. I'm fine watching ads when a service is free. That's how they make money and I get it. This is a pure money grabbing, double dipping fleece. I won't pay a fee to watch ads, and I certainly won't pay a higher fine for the privilege I originally forked money out for. There are better streaming services out there for the prices.

Aside from the fact that you are paying…

Aside from the fact that you are paying for ads... the customer service is terrible, the app is buggy and annoying to use, the content is average at best.
Yes I know you can upgrade for no ads but honestly the fact that paying for ads is even a thing is such a money grab. This service can't be trusted and I could not recommend it any less.

Poor implementation of Ads

Awful rollout of Advertisements, quite questionable practice when you sign up for an ad-free service only to change the tier types later without communication.
Placement is terrible, Ads play midsentence of dialogue making television shows unwatchable. Free-to-air places ads in natural breaks of a show. Competitors have shown successful models of ad rollout and Binge has completely missed the mark. Would not recommend, plenty of other places you can watch content

Glitchy service

Glitchy service, can’t currently even log in, keeps sending me back to log in page, customer service can’t help, they seem to have no idea.
There’s some good shows but even when it is working it doesn’t work well.
It constantly buffers, episodes won’t play.
All in all just a bad service.
I’m cancelling my subscription.

Ads introduced to paid service - cancelled my subscription!

I've been a Binge subscriber since August 2020, appreciating the selection available including HBO series. However now they've introduced ads - too many, too often (the sales pitch about that I've found wildly inaccurate), interrupting dialogue or action at highly inappropriate moments, completely spoiling viewing and enjoyment of the show. I'm not prepared to pay $16 per month simply to remove ads that have been forced on me at $10 per month. I've now cancelled my subscription.

If I could give them no stars I would

If I could give them no stars I would. The worst streaming company by far. I signed up for a trial that I couldn’t use because I couldn’t get it on my television. I have tried to cancel straight away but haven’t been able to and so I get charged $10 every month for something that is useless to me. I’m an aged pensioner and can’t afford to pay for that. UNSUBSCRIBE me. The ACCC should be informed of your unscrupulous practices.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Ads- you are giving them money and paying to watch ADS! Um no thanks? That is ridiculous! And it’s not a couple of ads- they are not only long, but repetitive, and played multiple times throughout the show, constantly interrupting and FULL of glitches and bugs! What the hell were they thinking?!
