Not Refunding our money, Absolutely horrible customer service, Very mismanaged company,

It is rare for me to take the time to write reviews, but sometimes you have an experience that just needs to be shared.
The company Bioflexwave.com is in Toronto, ON, Canada. We reside in Halifax, NS Canada.
Summary:
Requested return: Jan 5,
Received return label from Bioflex: Feb 23
Return received by Bioflex: Feb 27
Refund: None, as of Apr 6th

We placed an order on November 30, 2025, totaling $462. We received an email confirmation the same day—and then nothing. No shipping notification, no updates, just silence.

After waiting, I tried contacting them by email but only received an automatic “out of office” reply directing me to another contact for emergencies. I reached out to that person as well and, again, no response.

Interestingly, they had no issue charging our payment immediately.

After several attempts, we finally reached someone by phone. We were told the item was backordered—something that was never indicated at the time of purchase. This was meant to be a Christmas gift, and had we known, we would never have ordered it. It’s hard not to wonder if that information is deliberately withheld.

We requested to cancel the order, but it was shipped anyway on December 19 and delivered while we were away for the holidays.

When we returned in early January, we began the frustrating process of trying to return the item. Emails went unanswered, so we had to rely on repeated phone calls. We were promised a return shipping label, but it took six weeks—until February 23—to finally receive it. We returned the item immediately, and it was received by them on February 27.

Then came the frustrating process of trying to get our refund. After more follow-up phone calls, we received an email on March 6 confirming receipt of the return and stating they would begin the refund process. Weeks passed with no refund. More calls, more promises to “look into it,” and still nothing.

As of today, April 6, over a month later, we still have not received our refund.

What’s especially disappointing is that we previously purchased a $3,500 product from this company in 2022 and had a great experience, with excellent communication and follow-up. This time has been the complete opposite.

From what I can gather, Bioflex (Meditech International) was acquired about a year ago by DS Group. Whatever the reason, the level of service has significantly declined.

I would strongly urge others to think twice before ordering from this company. If a company is this poorly managed, it raises serious concerns about trusting the quality of their products.

Lousy Experience with Bioflex Wave Company

This review is about Bioflex Wave located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Buyer beware. I was excited to purchase a Wave Zone XL (a red light therapy panel) at a 40% discount on Black Friday; the item status showed ‘in stock’ and promised fast and free shipping. Within 2 days, my Visa was charged over $1300 for the purchase, but a month later, my item has still not actually shipped. Note that this was NOT a pre-order.

An email inquiry I sent went unanswered, so I phoned a few days later and was told there was some kind of guarantee I’d receive my item before Christmas and was also told a note had now been added to my order to expedite it. A week later it still had not shipped despite being expedited so I called again and was promised a return call from the Director who had processed my order. No phone call came…instead, I received an impersonal one-line email telling me my item was on backorder and would ship at the end of December.

After replying to express my dissatisfaction, I did receive a note and phone call from their CEO, but he could not explain why my card was charged WEEKS before they can ship the item or why the item is listed as in stock on their website when it’s back ordered, and he could offer no solution. He was unable to accommodate my requested solution, which was to reverse the charge on my credit card and re-charge it after the item ships…the only way to do this was to cancel the order and I could then place a new order, but I would not get the same 40% discount.

Credit card companies have rules that protect consumers, and Bioflex has violated Visa’s rule 7.6.1.1 which states that the transaction date of the charge cannot precede the actual shipment of the item. I have reported the violation to Visa.

Bioflex has continued to advertise the item as in stock on their website despite the backorder status and they have been unable to provide me with a confirmed ETA as the date keeps shifting and the CEO advised me that he couldn’t be certain that my order could be fulfilled from the next batch of inbound inventory because there were other backorders before mine.

Bioflex Wave’s poor business practices and poor customer service demonstrate a lack of integrity and respect for customers that is not just disappointing, but also questionable. They can and need to do better, especially given the high price points of their products.
