The sessions with Clare are amazing! I went from getting Cs and D on my tests to getting As and A stars. The sessions are very interactive and cover all of the topics in detail which is great. Clare asks questions and everyone writes down answers and she gives feedback on them as well as asking questions which you respond to verbally which is really helpful. She also gives lots of great tips for how to remember things and for exam technique. There are also lots of great support sessions that you can go to ask questions on topics.

Clare was really helpful, friendly and encouraging. Always made the lessons engaging and helped having weekly sessions to keep you motivated and on target. I would really recommend !!

It was ten times more support than I expected , there was non stop support sessions outside of the set sessions twice a week. Each session was planned so that everyone was engaged despite the bigger class sizes which is very impressive. And I now have routines and ways of revision I would never have dreamed of doing before, that are helping me significantly more than old styles of revision

The lessons and resources are so helpful and the lessons also made to be enjoyable and encourage you to interact and understand :)

I cannot recommend Biology with Clare enough. If you have the slightest concerns about your A-levels - run, don’t walk to speak to her.

Clare went out of her way to arrange a time to meet with my daughter and I when her usual schedule clashed with ours. She was extremely knowledgeable but approachable, and took the time to really listen to my daughter’s concerns. She was able to offer her advice and tips straight away that might help her.

At no point did I feel the “hard sell” or pushed into anything and felt Clare genuinely just wanted the best for us, as evidenced by the advice she offered despite being honest enough to say that she didn’t feel she was the best person to help us. Typically my daughters exam board is different to that which Clare was used to. How many businesses would do just have skipped over that fact for a “sale”.

Clare, you would not believe what a difference that half hour has made to my daughter’s outlook. We’ve gone from being uninspired and dreading lessons, to being reinvigorated that she at least now had a plan of where she is going and how to start to climb this mountain.

Clare’s style of tutoring is a great blend of support and resources that enable students to achieve their full potential. My son went from a B to a high A* in a matter of months and most importantly went into the exams with confidence. He has gone from not enjoying biology at all to getting great satisfaction from now tutoring other students in the subject. I would recommend Clare without hesitation.

I'm really happy with the experience I had with Biology by Clare! I joined when I was getting Bs and Cs in biology and ended up getting an A in my A Level. It is a flexible environment, as I often couldn't attend live sessions but still got the full level of support through recordings and messaging with Clare. I'd definitely recommend!

For any resit students out there, trust me: go with Biology by Clare. Not only did she go over the course in an interactive way that tested me at every single step, but the amount of supplementary information, sessions, resources and masterclasses (not to mention motivation too) included is extraordinary value for money - and let's be honest, getting that improvement in your Biology grade is worth every penny.

Clare has some amazing methods and teachings to ensure that the content is memorable- there is a lot to remember with A-Level Biology but with Clare's revision methods, meetings, resources and always being open for questions, it all feels a lot more capable!

Biology with Clare is one of the highlights in my week and has made me enjoy biology a lot more. I feel safer in lessons knowing that if something comes up that I'm unsure about Clare will break it down in an easy to understand way. I've learnt so many hints and tricks that I will definitely be using in my exams. Additionally, the master classes are helpful to go and revise from even if you weren't in attendance. Best decision I made was to do this course.

Claire does a fantastic job of going through content and explaining it thoroughly. she uses cool resources to make biology sessions engaging.

Clare was an incredibly helpful and thoughtful tutor. She was very much well versed about each topic in the A-level specification and able to adapt to each students' differing requirements.

Clare’s masterclasses are amazing! She condenses the content down into the most important parts whilst also going into detail. I particularly liked the insect exchange and mass transport as I found going over insect gas exchange was really useful and also looking back over the heart as it can be really confusing

They are always structured well and are very helpful as it explains a topic and condenses it into key points for the exam in just 2 hours! I would highly recommend this course if you are struggling to reach your full potential in biology :)

Super helpful! Effective lesson that clears a lot of misconceptions on the topics. It is also very engaging, making me actively aware what parts of the course I’m lacking in. Furthermore, any questions I had could be answered immediately and clearly. Very productive and made me feel a lot more comfortable with biology! Practice and explanation on exam questions in the class helped a lot too as taking biology exams relies a lot on hitting mark scheme.

I had a great experience in the Neuronal Communication Masterclass! The concepts were explained very well, and the use of diagrams and analogies really helped me visualise them. I also liked how exam technique was a big theme, and I think this was very helpful as I do tend to struggle with this in exams. I liked the handouts that Clare provided and the notes were very concise and had no waffle! I felt very engaged in the masterclass and I found this topic very fascinating and enjoyable to learn! I'm feeling so confident with Biology now! :)
