Sending the same things too often. I tried to get on this week to change my profile and could not find the area to put what I like such as more nail polish, maybe perfume, etc. And really the samples seem to have gotten smaller through the years even though the price has gone up. I had originally marked that I like skin care, but it is none stop every month.

Customer service has always been great! Every time I have had an issue, big or small, Birchbox's customer service has been great. I am pleased with the entire process and they make it easy to contact them. I have been with Birchbox, off and on for many years and I have never had an issue.

Selection of Products
I really enjoy Birch Box and all the amazing products that they offer each month to sample. I am always impressed with the variety of the different products. My one main complaint is that i will immediately log on to select the products for my box and inevitably they are out of the product. It has happened several times and this is on the first day of selection. I do enjoy Birch Box and will continue as it’s always exciting when you receive your box in the mail!

I have been a Birchbox customer for many YEARS...over a decade! I have moved, changed addresses, had babies, and stuck with you throughout your issues. Today, I received another box with 3 items that I received at LEAST 5 times each. At this point, you are hopeless. No one cares what I put on my preferences, and No one is keeping track of what has been sent to your customers. Pathetic. I don't want any more of the same crap. I'm here to discover NEW beauty products...shame on you for telling us that you promote new products when I have been getting the same JUARA crap every month for years. Birchbox gives you maybe one new item and then the other 4 are filler that they have too many samples of. They save money and pretend like you are getting such fun new products. It's a scam now! Do not buy anything from Birchbox. Save your money and get Sephora samples on a regular purchase.

where do i even start. im still chasing items from october and the last 3 boxes i had to chase to get them in the first place. boxes always sent well into the next month when they should have arrived earlier. items received that you received last month already. support telling you they will send replacements which never arrive. support are supposed to respond within 24 hours but its been 4 days. whole subscription was an absolute shambles.

Horrendous
Horrendous. Restarted my subscription from a few years ago and well, I wished I hadn't bothered. First box, item missing. Customer service wanted proof via photo which tbh felt like a snub already but I did this. Promised delivery of item and two months later no item has ever arrived, even after several chases. Constantly told it will be dispatched shortly.
Second box, payment taken beginning of July, only dispatched after many chases on 1st August! Some July box! What a joke. This has turned up today, again with an item missing. This means the company is always a payment in hand for a box not yet issued and is not delivering all items as promised. My subscription is over. All customer service do it repeat how your items are due to be despatched whilst speaking to you in a provocative fashion. I am not reaching out I am telling you I am unhappy and you have made a mistake so try apologising and fixing the error. If you can't give me a refund.
Customer Service Non Existent
I have a monthly subscription to Birchbox. Evri have been waiting on my last box for over a week. I contacted Birchbox to explain there has been no movement/update. I felt Birchbox response was dismissive advising there should be an update soon. The customer service is non existent, there is no empathy or willingness to rectify issues. As a direct result I have now cancelled my subscription.

Waste of money
The monthly boxes are a true waste of money. There is a short window to “pick” your favorite items, every time I’ve tried, most of the better looking items were sold out so they make your box with the leftover junk. Most items are sample size items which are tiny and worthless and you could get for free. I absolutely regret signing up for the 3 month subscription- complete complete waste of money!! I didn’t get even one item that was worth anything- again, most are no-name brands and sample sizes that are useless type junk, that I just put in the garbage. Also, once you sign up, you cannot cancel with a refund- which is also complete BS.

I have been receiving Birchbox for the past 4 years. I love the products and being able to tailor each box to my wants and needs. They work with so many great brands. Last month I received a beautiful eyeshadow palet and a 30 day sample of the fragrance Sexual Noir. So many amazing skin car products, brushes and tools. I rate them 10 out of 10

Literally don’t think they could try and make the experience any more awful if they tried. From not shipping the full orders in the first place to then gaslighting the customer saying the order was fulfilled thank god the delivery company took photos when delivered otherwise they’d have just fobbed me off.
Response is pathetic and laughable AVOID at all costs you’ll just waste weeks of your time. I sent multiple photos of proof and still wasn’t resolved for weeks and you are acting like I did the chargeback and still got a product? No you recharged me last week hahaha I’d rather have just kept my money box wasn’t even worth it.

Birchbox is NOT the company they used to be
I give Birchbox 2 stars because I still like and/or use about 65-75% of the products they send, so I'm mostly "satisfied." However, I have recently received in my December box 2 samples that were unusable. One was the Jura body cream. It had a giant hole at the top and completely dried up the product. The other product was a lip pencil from Laritzy. Not only was the color NOT for my skin tone or to my liking, the minute I opened it up, the tip of the pencil fell out. I tried sharpening it, only to find the next bit of pencil fell out. It was an old dried up sample. It's not even available for purchase, so what is the point of providing a sample in my box, unless it's to give away old expiring samples that nobody wants. Which brings me to my next point, there is NO WAY to purchase anything on the website. How is this even a business? Suppose I like or even love a product I sample. I have no way of purchasing it through the Birchbox website. I have to purchase full size products through Birchbox's competitors, like Amazon and Sephora. On top of all of this, I don't even know how to communicate with Birchbox re: the fact that I got damaged and expired samples in my box. There's no "contact us" tab anywhere on the website. Seems like after they were bought out, the new owners have ZERO desire to run a beauty e-commerce brand and just want to unload a ton of inventory on people who are willing to still pay $16/month for it.
