Repeatedly sending out broken products - not interested in doing better
Awful customer service experience with Bison. Ordered a Big Clip and it arrived damaged - multiple parts of the product hanging out of a ripped open box. Refused delivery on the doorstep as it had obvious scratches, scrapes and tape on it and who knows what may have dropped out of the holes in the box.
Was sent another one - this arrived similarly damaged, legs hanging out of the box. This is a piece of safety equipment and not good enough - called to report the issue and was told 'that's the way they come from the warehouse, there's nothing we can do' and that they can't buy a better fitting box. Pleaded for them to send a third unit that was better packaged.
Today, what has arrived (in better packaging) is the first, damaged exact FIRST unit originally received and returned - identified by specific scrapes and tape still left on it. So have in effect been sent a damaged unit twice, as well as another damaged unit.
God knows how anyone operates a business like this. Having problems is one thing, but having clearly no interest in fixing them has led to one of the worst customer service experiences I can remember - and this is for a piece of safety equipment. Would you buy a ladder off them?
Edit: While I appreciate Dominic's initial response below, the promised email hasn't been received so I am still with the old scratched, taped and dirty unit.

I want to address two specific points you raised. First, the comment you received regarding our packaging "being the way they come" is not acceptable. We are currently reviewing our warehouse and courier processes to ensure our "Big Grip" units are housed in reinforced packaging that reflects the quality of the product inside.
Second, I sincerely apologise for the mix-up that led to you receiving the original unit again. This was a significant logistical error on our part during the exchange process, and I can certainly see why it felt like a lack of care. Please be assured that we are investigating how this happened to ensure it is never repeated.
We take the integrity of our equipment very seriously. I would like to make this right and personally ensure you have a unit that is in perfect condition. I will be reaching out to you directly via email to discuss a full resolution.

A really good well made bit of kit
A really good well made bit of kit. I needed a bollard ASAP and found Bison online. They are not too far from me so phoned them to see if I could pick one up. No problem. Made to order, they were finishing it when I turned up. I bought a Ramco 100 and fitted it myself. Thoroughly recommend.

What an absolute terrible company, I have not received the product I ordered from bison products in January, they have just refunded me in March without telling me why. Their communication is very very poor and they are not a reliable company at all. I would give it zero stars if I could. I would avoid this company they do not do what they promise. A very disappointed customer

After we spoke in January, it was our full intention to fulfil your installation despite the logistical challenges of your location. However, we clearly failed to meet the timeline we promised.
The decision to refund your order was made because we realised we couldn't provide the level of service you deserved in a reasonable timeframe. However, cancelling and refunding you without a personal explanation was a significant mistake on my part. It was poor communication, and I understand why it felt like a dismissal of your time and trust.

Guess the ram-proof bollards haven’t been tested, but they look the part in terms of deterrence. It helps to dig deep enough holes to have appropriate tools as they are big!
