Large scale scam

Large scale scam, bitpay manipulates you, never send you your money, if you have set your wallet to receive your money in cryptocurrency, they tell you at the last moment that you have to change to return your money in fiat currencies to your Bank account, because they do not respect the market prices of the currency, then this company continues to buy time, to procrastinate, you talk anything to never send your money back to you, even in your bank account you will not see Never a transfer, they let it be known that the company suffered a hacking attack 2 years ago, they had thousands of euros stolen, the insurance companies had to reimburse them, but I think they had problems , this is the reason why this company wants at all costs to recover all that it has lost while stealing from you, I want to clarify that the SEC will soon be dismantling this organization of scammers

Been using BitPay as a company for…

Been using BitPay as a company for several years, but during the period service worsen dramatically. BitPay removed many features like hardware wallet support, transfer to BTC address directly, overpayment/underpayment control. Last drop was when they on 2021 Jan 6th started to ask PASSPORT when customer wants to do the payment. It's ridiculous. Impossible to use.

'Coin' Artists.

I do not use BitPay. I have been using CoinBase. First BitPay took £7 for an underpayment on a £32 transaction. Now they are saying CoinBase Wallet pay a low miner fee so my transaction is delayed and might ne returned. I paid like £17.21 for a £15 transactoin. Crooks should be arrested.

very cheap way to take Hidden Fees

very cheap way to take Hidden Fees
they make you feel that you pay network fee in total but they take over 40% of your Purchases price and let you pay network fee in high rate and if network did not confirm the transaction in 15 min they take it all and ask you to wait until you give up.
stay away...

When you underpay your transaction

When you underpay your transaction, for example due to exchange fees, Bitpay will offer only refund not another transaction to cover remaining amount. What's funny - refund fee was more than twice as large as fee from my exchange. So I paid 0.0005 BTC fee for 1st transaction, then for refund I paid 0.0011 BTC and another 0.0005 BTC for another transaction to fix my mistake. Instead it could be 2 x 0.005 BTC transactions.

Lost payments?

I cannot rate lower than 1 so that's what they get. Ive had nothing but problems from day 1. They seem to have major technology flaws and lost multiple payments. It took months for their customer support to even find the funds and they were reluctant to admit fault. Very amateur.

Another scamming company

Another scamming company , ripping people off with fees and charges then closing the account and stealing their money .. CRIMINALS. Most of the 3 and 4 star reviews are scammers or work with the company ... Take Note: People who say " Mr So and so were very helpful " are scamming liars who work for the cuntpany.

let's go live, uhmmmm not

05 Apr, 2020 after reviewing a number of crypto payment gateways, bitpay is selected primarily due to their attractive and simple offer, easy setup and relatively strait-forward integration requirements.

Required information for checks, approval, and ancillary requirements is submitted. The application is approved and completed the same day, 05 Apr, 2020.

So far, so good.

Time and resources are allocated to proceed with the integration. Final testing is done on the 17th Apr, 2020, almost 2 weeks after signing up.

2 live transactions are processed on their payment network, as progress is made towards sign-off and finalization on the integration, as:

* KYjezAXBFoN6vzRDZ26i7S
* CPLkZj1DEgpwVvpyKj1eZy

Literally hours before going live, the account is closed.

Request for further information received as "unable to determine the type of commerce you and/or your business conducts based on the information provided on your application and/or from your website".

That which is peculiar is the account was already approved (then it's unapproved).

A response is sent on 19th.

This is on a 3 day specified response window.

A follow up is sent again, on 23rd Apr, 2020.

Nothing.

Non-responsive.

Account closed.

Gone silent.

Before embarking on a sign-up and integration, be prepared in that your account may be suddenly closed without prior warning or notice. And without any response and / or resolve.

And then given the "silent treatment".

An unused Bitpay card

An unused Bitpay card, 2fa on my account. Funds were drained and placed on some new card in Santa Ana California that I have never been to. As the card was brand new, with a PIN code, I thought my account was safe. I called, they use "Card Services," a scammy 3rd party company and they basically didn't care they have internal theft or hackers at Bitpay. Absolute scam of a company. Run as fast as possible they cannot be trusted, as they have hackers or scammer working for them.
