Purchased Apple gift cards from Bitrefill that Apple later confirmed were disabled, retained balances, and could not be redeemed or re-enabled. Apple stated the issuer is responsible.
Bitrefill refused a refund, claiming the codes were “valid at the time of sale,” while providing no redemption logs, timestamps, or proof of use. They cited hypothetical reasons (IP, region, account issues) but offered no evidence any applied.
A gift card that cannot be redeemed and cannot be restored is not functionally usable. Buyer beware: if Apple disables the card, Bitrefill takes no responsibility.

This app is very easy to use and works perfectly. The design is clean, and everything is well organized, which makes it enjoyable to use. It helps a lot and saves time. I really like the features, and the app runs smoothly without problems. Great job to the developers—highly recommended!

Fast customer support and few problems!
Bitrefill has been an awesome site to purchase gift cards from for many months now. I've only had 2 or 3 problems where, after a purchase, the "Claim giftcard" webpage that comes up after clicking on it from the order page does not populate.
This is a technical issue that happens very seldom. When it does happen, it's either a glitch that fixes itself quickly or the Bitrefill team has been VERY quick to help me. I'm talking less than 12 hours after sending a support email at 7-8pm at night. Not only do they respond within that time frame, but the issue is also resolved at the time of their response.
Very trustworthy team and I have literally had no problems with the team, only a technical glitch every now and then. :)

Used for years. Usually good, got defective cards thrice (no refund). But usually is good, and support is helpful. Wouldn’t suggest buying large amounts unless you can afford losses, good for small 2 digit runs.
Update - Recently support has been better, I received refund for defective card this time.

Paying with crypto was easy and the giftcard code was recieved instantly after the payment had confirmed. Had no issues redeeming the code either.
I definetely recommend Bitrefill. It's reliable, fast and easy to use!

Bitrefill looked promising at first, but my experience with this company has been nothing short of terrible. They suspended my referral rewards for no legitimate reason and gave me vague, contradictory explanations when I contacted support. It’s clear they don’t handle things honestly, they make promises they don’t keep and seem to think ignoring customers is acceptable business practice.
The app itself is clunky and outdated. Even basic actions like changing your email address are not allowed, which is ridiculous in 2025. Many other users have reported the same things I’ve experienced — sudden account suspensions, missing rewards, and unresponsive customer service. Instead of helping, support tends to blame users and close cases without solutions.
It really feels like Bitrefill is run by people who don’t understand customer service or reliability. The company hides behind vague policies and treats paying users as if they’re disposable. For a service dealing with crypto transactions, this lack of accountability is concerning.

Bought a Steam gift card, and it turns out it wasn't legit, so I contacted them, and they provided a replacement that was already activated, so I contacted them again and they told me to sort it out with Steam Support. Never dealing with them again. Yikes...
