I recently took the IELTS test at BITT in Edmonton, and unfortunately, the experience was awful. Based on this experience, I would not recommend taking the IELTS test at this location.

My test was scheduled for 9:30 AM, and I arrived early at 9:15 AM. Upon arrival, I was immediately instructed to use the washroom before the test, as it would not be permitted afterward. While I understand test regulations, the tone used by staff felt unnecessarily tense when she instructed me to turn off my phone and watch. It certainly made me nervous before the exam even began.

The speaking test experience was more concerning. Instead of a face-to-face interview like their website claimed, it was actually conducted through a laptop. At the beginning, there were technical issues with the internet connection, and I lost contact with the examiner while she was explaining the test instructions. Although the connection was eventually restored, this disrupted the flow right from the start.

During the speaking test, the examiner kept interrupted my responses while I was delivering my ideas. This made it difficult to fully express my ideas and maintain a natural speaking flow. Additionally, unlike standard IELTS format descriptions (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), no clear structure at all was communicated during the test, which added to the confusion.

Overall, the combination of technical issues, interruptions, and the testing environment significantly impacted my experience. I hope the center can improve both their technical setup and communication approach to ensure a fair and professional testing environment for future candidates.

Horrible customer support service!
I wanted to book the OSR test. It took over two weeks. They don't get back to you. When I called I was hung up on several occasions while on hold. One time I got a lady on the phone with a connection so bad I could only hear the echo of my own voice. Other times you get people and can hear children shouting in the background. I finally got through to someone who could book the test for me. Then they sent me an email saying that I had to pay for the test, which I had already done! Then of course they cancelled it because I didn't wanted to pay twice. Now I am calling them again and getting hung up.

They called at the last minute to change the time of the speaking test after I had already arranged business meetings for that time. I essentially had to book off work for an entire day despite originally arranging it for half a day.

Absolutely horrible service. They have so far changed my exam date twice, but when I contacted them last week to try to change my date as I have a relative in the hospital I need to care for, they said no. Their response: "we can change dates as we want, you must do so 14-days in advance, no exceptions."

I really appreciate to staff for coordinating, especially I thank to Miss Alka who helped me lots to arrange my speaking test slot

I do not recommend people who are willing to do their IELTS. its been 2 months i have not received the original TRF. Staff is highly unprofessional and rude. They dont help the customers with queries. they are not willing to provide updates on queries. Infact the reason they have given me was so baseless for posting. They have not posted the TRF's yet they want you to pay $45 for express courier.
This is completely nonsense. Have never seen anyone working this unporofessionally

I do not recommend this company to take the IELTS test, until now I haven't received my official result and it's been almost 40 days since I took the test. I've tried to contact them several times, they don't respond by email, they don't respond via chat, and by phone no one answers, and when they answer they put me on hold until the call is dropped. This has been the worst experience because I paid dearly for this test and I need the official result to apply for my immigration and no one answers me and I have no idea where my result is.

I gave my computer based exam in their brampton ielts test centre and it was a good experience. Staff was helpful and they helped in with all my queries.

The certification course for food handler really helped me. I am working now full time as a manager. Thank you.

The office in Mississauga received payment from two of my staff members, it was auto deposited into the accounts and when they went for testing they were told that the payment was not received. No one is answering the phone or getting back to them They are scamming hard working people and it is outrageous.

I did my IELTS in BITTS about two weeks ago. I had the best experience, the staff were courteous and professional. The environment was conducive and most importantly I passed the exams. I'll recommend that any person who is planning on taking this exam, will benefit immensely from their IELTS tutoring classes.

I love everything about this college, It's a very welcoming place, staff and faculty are very nice and willing to help the students at all times. And with such a diverse community, anyone will feel right at home here.
