useless, ineffective, unfriendly support

I was not able to complete the verification as EU citizen, computer user for 30 years, and holder of dozens of other accounts in Europe.

The lazy verification agent told me that I failed because there was something wrong with my picture. She didn't even care to take the picture again during the video chat. She just logged off.

Re-starting verification was impossible. But Nuri support agents kept telling me that there is nothing wrong on their side. They obviously lack the skills to read correspondence and study their tickets. The last agent asked me to send a screenshot with my login email. Nobody even cared to read the correspondence thread.

I have given up and give Nuri the 1 star they deserve. Maybe the service is working great for others. But this is an honest reflection of my own experience.

Thieves! Do not trust!!

Similar to what has been Saud below me on here, I made a transfer from my Nuri account to my UK bank account and the money didn't arrive.

Everytime I contact support they tell me to contact the receiving bank which is NatWest and I have done and they say an incoming transfer has nothing to do with them until it reaches my bank.

I honestly believe they have stolen my money and now have stopped responding to emails.

It’s very simple…. This company are thieves! Something needs to be done.

Made my first transfer from nuri to my U.K. bank on April 26th, for €115.

I still have not received it 12 days later.

I have been in contact with nuri who have been extremely unhelpful, and are now ignoring me after I asked that the transfer be tracked.

I have also on a previous review on here been replied to, saying they’re sorry and someone will be in touch to sort it.

No one has been!

I have filled out their complaint form and of course, haven’t had a reply.

I’ve now lodged complaints with both the BAFIN and the Arbitration Board of the German Federal Bank.

So I’m waiting to hear back from them.

I would urge anyone to stay clear of this company, as their practices and what they’re doing is disgusting!

Nuri blocked my account with no reason

My account has been locked and IDK why.
I deposited just couple of euro to ETH wallet just for service testing and Nuri failed the test.
I’m waiting for my debit card to use fiat money and banking but now I’m afraid my money will be blocked someday with no reason as well!
I emailed about my case with ticket 618798. But I have no response still.
Summary:
I didn’t have any transactions except deposit ETH but my account is blocked with no reason!!!
Support doesn’t reply for few days.
It’s awful!!!

My experience of Nuri has been a positive one. I was in a bit of a panic initially concerning my address and their system only accepting the first half of my postcode. But I ordered a card and it came quickly and activated imeadiatly and has a wonderful security locking function which provides an additional layer of protection, which personally I love, because you can lock your card when not in use. I must also state that the Nuri banking system runs smoothly and the Bitcoin wallets work well no issues and I'm absolutely mad happy about the SEPA MONEY TRANSFER OPTION only £00.20p GBP and my funds were with me in less than twelve hours even though they state a transfer could take up to four to five working days, so happy with the service well done guys, Richard. 👨🏿‍🦲🙏🏾👌🏾👍🏾👏🏾

Cheat & exploitative pricing.

Nuri draws people in with promises of promotional cash bonuses for signing up, makes the terms & conditions deliberately hard to access and different to their promotional banner, and tries to wriggle out of paying out in every circumstance.

The service itself is also pretty exploitative - all the crypto prices are significantly higher than actual market rates on binance or kraken or other sites, AND they charge you fees on top of this.

Poor method of getting crypto exposure.

An excellent European bank and very crypto friendly!

Nuri is definitely one of the nicest banking experiences I had all around in Europe - even without discussing crypto-currencies support.

100k insurance, great mobile app, speedy support and smooth process to handle document verification.

On top of this they are very crypto friendly and make buying or saving in crypto a smooth process.

They're based in Germany but dealing with customers all across Europe, making it a great choice for expats living in countries with old style banks with loads of fees and inefficiencies.

Had problems in the beginning with NURI.
Contacting NURI was easy, but simply no replies!
I was worried not getting my money back.
But after a while, when I thought my money is lost, I got a feedback.
Since then it got easier for me and slowly I am building trust.
