This was the first time I used this service and was literally a very bad experience. I am still stuck in Step 4 : SENDING YOUR ETH
WAITING FOR 1 CONFIRMATION... for more than 13 hours

Update : Received Eth after lots of struggle, helpful support. Though they are somewhat slow, they are legit. I recommend using the service in future.

I truely appreciate the customer service of the platform Bity. The service is friendly, can be trusted, is reliable.

The thankfulnesses are sent to the well appreciated Team of Support of the platform Bity.

I couldn't use a landline with their call feature to authenticate, I had to use SMS with another phone but it works and they are not US based.

It would be great if you guys could fix the authentication with the phone.

Drew out the minimum required amount to my bank account via arbitz bitcoion wallet app, (was 0.0100BTC) or (86.48 EURO) been a while now and still nothing landed in my bank account and no confirmation email etc, getting a little worried now, please get back to me so I can change my review - if it completes. (there's been 181 confirmations after it said only needed 3 in total?) Please respond - sorry if im not waiting long enough just nice to know how long things will take even if its a rough estimate, thanks. Andy

BTC not received.

Sent over my eth within the 10min window. transaction already confirmed but system is saying transaction cancelled. I have sent tons of messages and snapshot to online support but no response. Not professional and not happy

I tried to change ETH to BTC on MEW using Bity service. Transaction went through but there is no way to check status. After 1 hour, there is no news, no confirmation or rejection. There is an order ID but it is unbelievable that there is no way to check the status and you only need to wait!!!

It's also surprising that MEW works with these guys with such level of unprofessional service.

I used the Bity Bitcoin ATM in Zurich HB to sell bitcoin. It has been over 9 hours since I sent the BTC to the Bity address and the block explorer shows over 40 confirmations but I still cannot get the cash from the ATM. I have emailed Bity support over 7 hours ago and also posted on their Twitter and have gotten NO support. Quite poor service would not recommend using their Bitcoin ATM machines

Improving to 3 stars as shortly after this review was posted Bity support contacted me and solved the issue. Not going higher than 3 stars because A) should not have to post on SM to get support and B) still unclear if the problem was a hung transaction or if the ATM really required over 50 confirmations to get money ... either one is not good.

But at least it is resolved I do appreciate that, thanks Bity.

On 15/01/2018 I made a SELL order, to sell a small amount of bitcoin.
Reference MV6A-V55J.
Order seemed to have been accepted, however 5 days later they notified me via email that my 'Buy' order didn't go through yet cause they didn't receive my "bank wire transfer".

I wrote back and to their customer service explaining that I had made a sell, not a buy order, and that my bank account details, which they have, are up to date. No useful answer from customer support, just bot answers, one generic answer from (possibly) a person.

On 26/01/2018 they notified me again saying that my order was cancelled due to the same reason as given before, even though I had contacted them with an explanation in the meantime.

Now I don't have the bitcoin in my Airbitz wallet nor the cash in my bank account.

If my issue is resolved with the payout to my bank account, I'll happily change my review.

Stuck in step 4. No response from support.

5 hours later NO ETH , NO BTC ,NO ANSWERS FROM THIS COMPANY!!

STUCK ON STEP 4! "Waiting for 1 confirmation".

Two days ago:
Sent BTC in order to receive ETH. BTC was successfully sent.

ETH NEVER WERE SENT TO ME ON BEHALF. Its been two days now.

EDIT: Solved by support team!

Swapped 1ETH for BTC via MyEtherWallet, yet twenty-four hours later, ETH is gone, no BTC received, and no emails answered.

UPDATE:
Now resolved. I understand there are problems with the network, but some kind of initial response to emails would help. Thanks for resolving.

Tryed to reseve 0.2 of ETH to EUR 19.12. Nothing has happened, support won't answer. Starting to think whole site is a scam.

After this review bity contact me in 1.5 hours. And my bank information needed to be update.

After some time I finaly got my money

On the 7th of Jan. I have been transfering 20 ETH in 2 transactions of 10 ETH to exchange them in CHF. The two order where canceled however I do the transfer in the 10min timeframe.
SInce them and despite many message on the support I didn't get any response and did't received any payment or refund for my ETH.

UPDATE:
They are slow to react but when they react, they move fast and like gentlemen.
I got the money this morning with the updated rate. This mean ~4600 CHF more than with the rate when I made the my transactions.

it's been about 6 hours sinceI have swapped my BTC through myether wallet. It's stuck on step 4. "sending your Ether, waiting for 1 confirmation."
I have also raised the issue to support.
What do I do? Plz. Help!

Support very bad....
It is Swiss company and I hope it will working like Swiss watch but...., I registered here and wrote to support few days ago and no answer....very very bad.

I contacted Bity and thankfully they responded on this website (I have to compliment their response time). Originally, my transaction was automatically cancelled because Bity didn't receive my funds within the 10 minute window.

After posting here, Bity reactivated the transaction, and said I should should shortly receive my ether. But it's been about 4 hours since then and I haven't received anything. My order HAS indeed been re-initiated BUT it's stuck on step 4. "sending your Ether, waiting for 1 confirmation."

What do I do? Help!

EDIT: It finally went through after about 6-7 hours. I left the post up just to ask the question anyway to understand for future reference.
