Barry adjusted and refitted all the doors in our house after carpets were fitted. The work was good quality and I’m very happy with the finish. Barry was prompt to respond to my enquiry and fitted in the work very quickly.

Barry reversed some double doors for us which wasn't as straight forward as it sounds.
His work was excellent , very respectful of our property cutting materials outdoors and tidying up as he went .

I have used Barry twice now, once to build a bespoke boiler cupboard and second time today to do the skirting in the upstairs of our house! Barry is reliable, hardworking and gets the job done quickly. He will always ask you questions before making decisions to ensure you get exactly what you want. I would 100% recommend him to anyone and will most definitely be using his services again!

Booked Barry for a couple of days work. He installed a new internal door which involved adjusting the frame so that the door would open outwards instead of inwards. He replaced all of our internal door latches, handles and hinges, and installed locks on the bathroom doors. He tidied up as he went along so the only evidence he'd finished that room was the job done! He's courteous and was lovely to have round. Would definitely book again if we have any more carpentry needs.

The first time we used Barry was to fit new architrave and skirting boards. He did a great job so we used him again to fit 6 internal doors. We have just had Barry fit our new kitchen and he has done a fantastic job! He is a very nice man, punctual, tidy and very precise. He is coming back to build a bespoke cupboard for our boiler. We would highly recommend Barry and will continue to use him for any carpentry needs.

We've used BJS Carpentry for a few jobs around the house, and happy to recommend Barry who has been very efficient, courteous and reliable. He has fitted our downstairs skirting boards and made a bespoke understair cupboard door. Upstairs fitted a bathroom door and several architraves, and more recently a bespoke stair balustrade kit made by Stairfurb. Great job as always.

We’ve used BJS Carpentry for a few jobs now - skirting boards, new bannisters and replacing doors. Always does a great job and very tidy and professional.

Barry fitted a full new kitchen for us including a herringbone floor, skirting, new door etc.

He also built a bespoke shaker style alcove cupboard to house storage and hide a sink area in the bedroom.

The work was top class - a really great finish. He’s very timely and managed expectations well, especially when dealing with tricky real life situations that come up when taking a kitchen from a drawing to real life!

Would 100% recommend Barry and will have him back in the future I’m sure.

Barry replaced all of our kitchen doors and drawer fronts. Swapped over the handles and hinges. Very professional and did an excellent job. Turned up bang on 8am both days and was polite and courteous. Left everything neat and tidy (even the old doors and packaging was separated and stacked in the garage). Would highly recommend for any kind of carpentry work and would feel very safe leaving the BJS team unaccompanied in the house. Charged exactly as quoted. Overall extremely happy with the service.

Barry built a kitchen cupboard for us to house a new boiler. He skilfully re-purposed a standard cupboard from the same range as our fitted kitchen to conceal the boiler whilst still allowing access for maintenance. Very pleased with the quality of Barry's work and happy to recommend him.

Barry fitted some laminate flooring in my son’s bedroom. Work was to a very high standard and we were left very satisfied. Also the room was left clean and tidy and I have one happy child!!

Barry was a true professional from start to finish, he was clean, tidy and punctual and his quote was also very reasonable. Barry installed our kitchen and did an outstanding job, also liasing with the plumber and electrician on site. He also installed our solid wooden worktops and made this look incredibly easy with the cut out for the belfast sink and drainage grooves that he machined in. A true master craftsman!
