I had an issue with my vehicle under…

I had an issue with my vehicle under warranty. I have never used a warranty company before. But like everyone else have heard bad reviews regarding nothing being covered. This was an unbelievable experience great from the start to the end. It was very easy to register the problem and once the issue was found. I was given clearance to get it fixed within 24 hours. A really pleasant experience and many thanks for all your help Blackstar warranties

Customer service have no clue what the services are they offer - advised me to look at the booklet and gave me the wrong page numbers - was then laughed at when I asked if they knew what they were talking about

Vehicle purchase/repairs

Blackstar were very professional and efficient in dealing with our vehicle being repaired, very happy if the outcome on both occasions we attended, would definitely recommend blackstar in the future.

Took the car to the garage and was told…

Took the car to the garage and was told it was the purge valve
I was told to get a written quote which I did and sent it them
After chasing them for a decision they asked me if I knew why it had failed I said I didn't as I am not a mechanic they said OK we'll process the claim
The following morning they message me to say the claim had failed as the purge valve isn't covered,under my gold scheme
Why bother going through all this,also messing my garage about when they know the part isn't covered
Avoid this company they will waste you time cost you money and won't pay up

Just the best

Their service was quick, polite and professional. I called them Thursday afternoon, I was booked into a local garage the next morning. After diagnostics revealed oil had been leaking onto my clutch mechanism, and my handbrake dash light was not working, they sanctioned the work be carried out immediately. They told the garage to replace the clutch plate, clutchplate cover and thrust race bearing, and also the handbrake as the sensor was an integral part of it. I half expected they would wriggle out of it saying the faults were due to natural wear and tear, but just said no problem, we will get this sorted for you. Best warranty service I ever needed to use.

by far the WORST WARRANTY COMPANY…

by far the WORST WARRANTY COMPANY AROUND BEWARE!!!!! BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!!! Failed to cover on my car which should have been covered under the warranty! Left me with a 3k bill! This company is a joke honestly do your self a favour and walk away from these clowns would rate them Les then 1 star if I could!!

Warranty companies take note of black star they have raised the bar!

All my cars I’ve never bothered with the warranty as we all can agree 99% aren’t worth the paper they are wrote on. Black star however, this company is on a whole different level setting the standard which other need to take note!
Bought my Mercedes GLC and in a month had parking sensor issues as well as faulty NOX sensor. Blackstar and their staff are unbelievable all communication was done without me having to chase or take over, honestly luxury service I sat back and awaited the call from the garage to call stating repairs are complete email confirmation stating the claim has been approved. All in a matter of 24hrs! I can’t rate this company enough. I’m now back in love with my car and faith restored in warranty !

Terrible Claims Process

Terrible service car repair cost £3500 and only gave me a limit of £1000 expecting me to pay £2500 for the repair when the vehicle was bought with the faults from the start. Unacceptable!

If I could give minus stars I would.

If I could give minus stars I would.
Customer service staff rude. I had a problem with handbrake switch as it came off in my hand in car that I purchased a week earlier.
I was on holiday at the time towing a caravan I was told it would be fine to drive and tow the caravan without a handbrake.
So I had to pay the cost myself while away to be roadworthy.

I will never use this company again also would tell everyone to avoid at all costs !!!

Horrible service

Horrible service! Avoid this warranty company. The timing chain in my car was faulty which was clearly diagnosed by the garage. Further usage of the car could damage the engine! Everyone who knows a little about cars should know that. Faulty timing chain = broken engine!!! The timing chain was included in my warranty package. The claim was refused due to chain was not completely broken! Why on earth they included timing chain in the warranty package? Obviously if it breaks completely I would have to replace the whole engine! which is not worth it! My claim limit is £1500 so this would not cover the damage of the engine. I bought this warranty to have peace of mind that if something is faulty this can be claimed through warranty. Waste of money, never again!
