Best moving service I've used in Columbus! They were prompt, efficient, were respectful of my items and professional.

While the movers were efficient and very kind to work with, there were some items that were damaged in the move, including our mattress and TV stand. The process to book these movers was incredibly smooth and everyone that we communicated with was friendly. I had a nice moving experience, but was disappointed with the damage to items and the treatment of our items; things were thrown down and dropped, which resulted in damage.

Outside of Joseph, the other 2 or 3 of our movers were very subpar.

Had a great experience! Chad, Anthony, Dee and Aaron were THE best! Very attentive and were top notch! Highly recommend this crew! Even had several good laughs throughout the day.

The movers called ahead, showed up on time, and took great care with moving my parents furniture.

We did not have a good experience with Black Tie Moving. We paid almost $6,000 for a full pack up and move and were thoroughly disappointed. I don’t typically take the time to post a negative review but felt compelled to do so in this case as they did not follow instructions on multiple things that caused harm and delays. There were a couple of bright spots (kitchen was packed well with nothing broken) but otherwise we were disappointed.
1) We were supposed to have 2 trucks and four guys reserved but after the pack they knocked us down to 1 truck and 3 guys without confirming that with me. They could not fit everything in that one truck and offered to “come back on Tuesday” at an additional cost to finish up.
2) They left behind our mattress despite specific requests to ensure this made it to the house
3) We had spent 10 hours carefully sorting toys and pieces into their specific bins and had requested that they be wrapped up in plastic wrap and placed into the boxes. They instead dumped them into boxes and created another 10-15 hours in new work.
4) There were some scratches on our coffee table and laundry machine. This is to be expected though as that is part of moving.
Overall this was far below our expectations for “The best move of our life” for the associated cost.

Guys did a great job Noticed they tore up a door that should have been taken off. I wish they would have told me about it when they damaged it. Over all very happy will recommend

Our experience with Black Tie Moving was excellent. They kept us informed every step of the way. Their crew worked quickly to carefully cover and wrap each piece of furniture. The crew was very diligent in getting items placed where we requested and reassembled as needed. We highly recommend this company for your moving needs.
