My experience with the product so far is not good. I received the glasses yesterday, and after downloading the app, I cannot set them up because I am not receiving a verification code. I made sure the VPN was off, checked the Spam/junk folder, was on Wi-Fi, and turned Bluetooth on. Additionally, I am receiving a verification code via email from other apps.
I contacted Bleequp multiple times but did not get a response.

Changed from two stars to four stars after they got back to me on Monday morning with the fix.

The glass is always request a firmware upgrade. They upgrade never completes. It takes up to half an hour to connect to the sunglasses. After connecting I cannot find the videos or photos that I took. An entire month is missing. This is even though I have lots of storage left on the glasses. The glasses are difficult to operate. I have my gloves on and it's difficult to find the buttons to activate the video or the photos.
The firmware was finally updated. After the update I got a message that there's a new firmware to update. When I tried to update it it says you have the current version.
I went on a ride and tried to take photos and videos and I could not. All I got was a single beep every time I tried to take a photo or start a video. A half an hour later, I was able to do this. About 50% of the time if I start a video I cannot stop it and just have to wait for it to time out.
Another bike ride. Usually when I turn the glasses on I get a notice about low medium or high battery. This time I never got that message. When I tried to take a photo or video, nothing happened. Not even a bleep sound. The entire ride I could not invoke any photos or videos.
On other rides I have noticed that it randomly turns off. I just get the message power down or something like that.
In the meantime, I bought a pair of sunglasses for $30! These are so much easier to use. I get photos and videos whenever I want. And it connects to the laptop with a USB! So I don't need a special cable to charge it and when I plug it in to my laptop, it instantly comes up with the photos and videos that I took on it. It also has an SD card, so I can adjust how much storage I need. So why did I pay $450 for sunglasses that don't operate, require a special cable to charge and takes a half an hour to connect to download the videos or photos that might be missing.

You have to use the remote control to operate the sunglasses. The controls on the glasses themselves simply do not operate. The left side used to be able to turn off the glasses but they don't turn off anymore. I was on a bike ride the other day listening to music and the sunglasses simply powered down.

All of these moments were captured through my Bleequp glasses, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The BleeqUp Ranger glasses are fantastic, clear video and photos, very comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is surprisingly good. Battery and storage work well for long rides, and the improved handlebar remote makes recording super easy and safe. Highly recommended!

It is not my first Kickstarter project, but it is the first time I can say we had a good follow-up during the baking period and the company listened to users’ comments during the beta test waves and continuously improved his product until the final launch !

I was very surprised by the comfort of wearing this glass, the design is perfect for sports. No sleeper, not too heavy, no fog on lenses. Good job to BleeqUp.

I used the clip provided with the glasses with corrective lenses and my optical supplier said the lenses integrated into the glass are very good with no distortion. And it is real, I have a clear good view on all directions. It is very pleasant to wear, you can forget you have lenses in front of your eyes.
If you are techies, I'm in love with all possibilities integrated in a very lightweight system. Very good sound for listening to music, very good microphone to make phone calls, all microphones can capture all sounds around you, the memory capacity and battery (4 hours in normal sports usage).

The app associated with the glasses is good and the dev team pushes new features regularly.

Don't be afraid about this company and his product, they take care of their customers and you can feel it is not a one-shot product.
Since I used this glass, I never retook my DJI Osmo sports cam. It is so convenient to wear a glass to make "points & shots" compared to a classic action cam.

I already use this product on these situations :
Mountain biking, live concerts, walking in the street, tennis spectators, sleeping under the sun with music, etc.

The BleeqUp has created a product, Ranger, that has matched my needs in cycling in every way….and then some!

I’m so glad I invested in these glasses! They are light, comfortable, and the audio quality is incredible. I can listen to audiobooks while mountain biking!! I can even hear perfectly on a steep downhill roadride… truly impressive!

I enjoy being able to quickly capture moments or record the ride.

Actually: the glasses would be a 5 star, but the App has a few minors:
- The Upload from glasses to device: you have to unpause every single media. After making a lot of photos, I had to click 50 times un "unpause" to resume the download - nearly costed the 5th-star!
But I guess thats a software-problem, and solveable with an update of the app.
- A notification which does not go away (also solveable by app-update, I guess)

I’ve been testing these smart sunglasses for a while now, and they’ve completely transformed my riding experience.
☀️ Sunglasses Performance
First off, as a pair of sunglasses, they nail the essentials. The large lenses provide great coverage, and the lens color is versatile — perfect for bright sunlight as well as dimmer environments like tunnels. The fit under a helmet is excellent, with an adjustable nose pad that adds comfort and stability. They’re lightweight and stay put even during intense rides and sweaty conditions.

Now for the tech — this is where things get exciting. The built-in camera takes crisp videos and sharp photos. It even has two optimized camera modes: one for on the bike, and one off, ensuring the angle always lines up with your field of view. Listening to music and handling calls is seamless, and I’m impressed with how intuitive the controls are. Once wind reduction is added in a future update, it’ll be even better.
I do wish it had voice command support like Meta’s Ray-Ban, but frankly, this device outperforms it in almost every other way — especially for athletic use. It’s built for sport, and it shows. In cycling scenarios, it’s hands-down more practical than anything Meta offers.

The AI feature is another standout: it auto-highlights your ride footage with key stats like speed, power output, and connected sensor data. This makes it super easy to share impressive clips from your session.
There are tons more features I haven’t even touched on, but to sum it up: if you’re looking for a high-performance pair of sunglasses that doubles as a smart companion on your rides, this is it. Massive respect to the team — you can tell they’re passionate and truly know what they’re doing.

hello, i'm michael from germany and i received the glasses for testing. i have to say this is a really good piece of technology, the team knew what they were doing.

i have tested the glasses extensively in various situations, routes and different weather conditions and am now very impressed with the product.
first of all, the two narrow slits on the upper edge are good for ventilation and antifog. the contrast of the lenses is good, not too much just right. the overall construction also makes a stable impression and all buttons and controls work perfectly.the glasses are comfortable to wear and are slightly heavier in weight than usual sunglasses but the wearing comfort is excellent and I didn't have to adjust them either, which is possible.

the glasses can be charged with the magnetic cable, the glasses themselves have no usb inputs. charging time is about an hour and the battery lasts for several hours, i can't say exactly how much. the cable has a special magnetic connection, so it's better not to lose the cable.

when riding, the wind and weather protection is very good. the lenses are large enough to reliably protect against wind, weather and rain. these glasses are absolutely top class.

filming and taking photos is easy and the quality is good, even in darker weather. the wobble when driving is reliably corrected, even with fast pans there is hardly any jerking.

filming while driving is good for traffic observation and works like a dashcam, but with the glasses I can also change the direction, so I can film event posters while driving, for example, whose information I use later.

the app is well structured, there is a detailed overview of the journeys, there is a ki function that i have not used, the films and pictures are downloaded to the phone via wifi, which now works perfectly and very quickly after the first firmware update. the speakers have clear, bright sound, but as with all open systems, there is hardly any bass. the music playback and control works well, but i hardly listen to music while driving.

all in all, the glasses are a real piece of state-of-the-art technology with many functions. the battery and memory of the glasses are practical and everything works smoothly. i would like to thank the team very much and wish them continued success with these great glasses.

Amazing glasses!

I was looking to purchase a Go Pro camera set up to record my mountain biking experiences but discovered these all in one glasses instead! Not only are they stylish polarized sport sunglasses but a camera of equal quality to a Go Pro plus the added bonus of a tracking app, music player, and connects to my cell phone for calls. The app’s ability to download and store each session is huge and eliminates the need for a cumbersome storage card. Charge time is short and the battery life is adequate. By adding the extra power pack you can get up to 5 hrs.! Water resistance is good, no problems in the rain. Overall great camera and glasses! I can’t wait to see what comes next!
