Extremely Slow Fulfillment and Lost Shipping
I wanted to support BlindDepot.ca because the blinds are manufactured in Canada, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing.
It took approximately 7 days just for my order to be sent to manufacturing. Then it took about another 7 days for manufacturing to be completed, followed by roughly another 7 days for delivery — and that is assuming everything actually arrives.
In my case, two items were lost in transit by Purolator. BlindDepot.ca opened a trace with Purolator, but it took about a week just to locate the missing items. For some reason, the shipment was then sent back to the Toronto/GTA area. It has now been another 7 days, and the items are still sitting in the GTA. I still have no idea when I will actually receive them.
At this point, the entire process has taken well over a month, and I am still waiting for part of my order.
I specifically chose BlindDepot.ca because I wanted to support a Canadian business and liked that the blinds are manufactured in Canada. Unfortunately, with this kind of turnaround time and shipping experience, I honestly feel I could have ordered blinds manufactured overseas and probably received them faster.
I cannot recommend BlindDepot.ca unless you are prepared to wait more than a month for your complete order and potentially deal with lengthy shipping problems if something goes wrong.
Based on my experience, I would avoid ordering from this business.
