Bought 12 sponges only got 6.

Bought 12 sponges years ago, recieved 6 and have been asking for remainder ever since. Tried to be patient but has proved challenging now.

Product itself had no effect with teeth, dentist always said it was the same buildup as usual. Thought between brushing and this there would be a greater impact.

In summary, nothing special , another gimmick sold by less than honest people.

Super happy!

Me and my family are super happy with our blizzbruches!
In my life I tried so many kinds of electrical brushes (oscillating and sonic toothbrushes), but compared to this one they clean really badly!
Will now go on with the flosser and are very excited!

stunning

The "toothbrush-sponge" is absolutely wonderful. Perfect cleaning made easy. It took me a few days to get used to it, but then you dont want to live without it anymore. I ve been using these sponges for over a year now and can confirm "stunning cleaning efficacy". I even let my dental hygienist lady test it, and she confirmed it as well. I just had my yearly checkup: clean teeth like I had never had them before. I will order these for my kids now as well!

Scam, cheap materials

I ordered a sponge on the manufacturer's website in early 2022, I was very dissatisfied and wrote to the developer of the product and sent pictures for months. But they didn't change the sponge to positive, very cheap material (From china) production cost for about under $1. But they sell the sponge for 12-16$ per sponge which is absolutely extortionate. The brushes in the sponge don't last more than 1 week, the sponge material comes off and gets in the mouth. I invested in the company's Kickstarter campaign in late 2022, but was only disappointed. They promised with their campaign that they would set up a production hall to speed up the production and delivery times of the sponges (they waited months), but they only delivered half of the sponges ordered and then nothing for months. In addition, there are no laboratory tests on the intolerance of the sponges, it is a SCAM!!

Reply to Blizzbrush's comment: What you are saying is complete nonsense, there are so many comments on their Blizzbrusher Kickstarter campaign page from so many who regretted putting money into their campaign and have received nothing from them to date or only partial deliveries. There are videos on YouTube of people that you scammed a long time ago and then you simply blocked their emails. I'm not the only customer who complains. They have no laboratory tests for their sponges, nor are they professionally or high-quality manufactured. Mr. Martin, you probably put these together at home in your free time, at least this is what they look like. You have neither mastered the "Hercules task" as you wrote in previous emails, nor do you have an approved product that has been tested. This is also the reason why you will never see their sponges in local drugstores in Germany or wherever because they are not licensed, this is also the reason why you ship from Spain. I hereby demand that you refund me the money I invested in Kickstarter if you don't do this and send further outrageous answers instead. I will think about informing the authorities and the courts and police about your company, whether you are supposedly based in the USA, Spain or wherever.

Reply from Blizzbrush

Dear Sabine,
you write about the old Blizzbrush 5 sponge, which we stopped manufacturing in late 2022. These sponges were brilliant and we had many satisfied users. It was even tested by the toothbrush tester blog @electricteeth (not affiliated with us), with BRILLIANT results. You can see their test online, here: https://blizzbrush.com/pages/blizzbrush and here: https://www.youtube.com/@ElectricTeeth. They show the brilliant cleaning results, and didn't complain about "bristles coming off" after many months of using them.

We ONLY manufactured Blizzbrush 5 in 2022, and you were definitely the ONLY customer ever complaining about "cheap" material and "sponge material coming off" (which we didn't experience in 2 years of developing, testing and using it).

About the long delivery times: for us the main and nearly only task has been to deliver a brilliant product, no matter what. We would rather disappoint customers with long delivery times than with the product. We started delivering Blizzbrush 5 right after the Kickstarter campaign ended. But soon after the campaign, we realized that a new design that we had been testing for some time was even much better than the version 5. It is a much simpler design which works even much better (perfectly) and is even much easier to use. And there are no nylon-bristles in it anymore, which could theoretically come off. We switched production to the new Blizzbrush 6, then 7 (further perfected version), from fall 2022 on. This cost us an enormous amount of time and resources. We have many users in the meantime confirming the brilliant cleaning results of the Blizzbrush 7 and its fantastic ease of use. You also see Kickstarter backers confirming it on the project page. We recently let Registered Dental Hygienists test the Blizzbrush 7 and they confirmed our claims. We received answers from them like "I am very impressed, I want to order them for my kids too."
That is really all we ever wanted to achieve.

Regarding your demand of laboratory tests (which we ignored, because you were the only person on earth demanding them, and it would have cost us thousands): the Blizzbrush 5 consisted of nothing than silicone and nylon. There is no intolerance against these materials. They are used in myriads of medical applications with skin contact and even as implants. Do you demand laboratory tests from Oral B, Colgate, Philips, and from "cheap manufacturers from China" as well? They contain much more and much more diverse material than our toothcleaning-sponges. The new Blizzbrush 7 even only consists of silicone material now, and nothing else. It is the simplest (and best) toothbrush on earth.

In the meantime we are working on speeding up delivery times by manufacturing them fully automatic.

If you had asked to receive the new Blizzbrush 7 sponges delivered as well, we would of course have delivered them to you, free of charge (like we are doing with all Kickstarter backers as well). But you preferred writing this Trustpilot piece instead.

So, long story short, although we DID deliver your sponges, and they WORKED PERFECTLY, you accuse us of being a "scam", because of long delivery times, and because you had a sponge where a bristle came off, and because we are "too expensive" and because we didn't deliver "laboratory tests" to you.

Update Oct 16th: Reaction to your comment update: Your comments are pretty outrageous and laughable, sorry to say. Our toothbrushes are even in the Colgate toothbrush museum in the meantime, and their head of toothbrush design recently said on cam "these brushes are the future". And here some comments from the Kickstarter project page: "Just received my package today. Just tried the brush for the first time. I feel like overall it works as advertised. Definitely feels like it cleans spots that were unreachable before. incredibly fast. my worry that the sponge is unhygienic seems unwarranted. Cleans super easy under running water and dries over a glass as suggested."

Have been using the Sponge Toothbrush…

Have been using the Sponge Toothbrush for a couple of months. I am definitely very happy with it. I was sceptical, but it works very very well, extremely much better than any toothbrush i ever used, and i dont have to care anymore where to clean, it does it automatically.
