Work as intended but tricky installation
Like the title says, the instructions / videos for assembly are OK but not great (some parts differ, some bits you are left to figure out). The measurements need to be extremely precise and have a very symmetrical window. You need to do quite a bit of DIY if measurements are a bit off - or take up the measurement insurance thing and request changes but to us that would've been a long delay.
Overall is a really good solution to block sunlight but requires quite a bit of DIY to install.

They were already broken from one side…
They were already broken from one side when they came and even after fitting everything we struggle everyday to open and close because one side of the rail doesn’t gets the blind inside and gets stuck or gets out of the tracks! It has been a disappointing experience. We were actually going through house renovations and hence lots was going on and we didn’t opened our package for weeks because our bedroom was getting painted. Hence it was too late to complain or return!

Absolutely chuffed with the blinds
Absolutely chuffed with the blinds. They fit the window perfectly and block out ALL the light. They were easy to install and are easy to operate. They look sleek and minimalistic.
Took a few weeks to be delivered but there was regular updates which made me feel like they were being lovingly made. Once despatched they arrived quickly in a sleek box

– Disappointing Experience
Our experience with Bloc Out Blinds has been very disappointing. The blinds we received were the wrong size, and despite multiple attempts to contact the company, responses have taken up to four working days each time. Communication has been slow and unhelpful, and the team has been evasive regarding both a refund and replacement. Unfortunately, the customer service provided has been far below expectations, and we would not recommend this company based on our experience.

Rubbish
I got my measurements perfect and the blinds are slightly too small. Had to order a new set of brackets which have taken over 1 week to arrive, and still have not arrived. No wonder they want you to pay MORE for insurance against the measurements you take. I can fit the blinds myself even if I have to pack with spacers to make them fit however buying the blinds then paying for a fitter would not be worth it. Just use a trustworthy reputable brand to buy blinds and don’t waste your time and money on these clowns

We purchased the blind to replace our block out curtains in our autistic son's bedroom. In summer he was waking at daybreak, so early! The blind is still leaking daylight especially when the window is open. During a London summer this is often not an option. Maybe should have investigated further.

Absolutely blown away by the quality and the true black-out effect of these blinds. We've been looking for a curtain/blinds option for our back bedroom and thought we'd take a punt on Bloc Out as we didn't know anybody else who'd installed them before. They arrived in exactly two weeks, the quality even of the packaging was impressive and then the actual blind itself, they're clearly so well made. They installed easily and fit perfectly. The black out is nothing like you've ever had before. We've had black out roller blinds with a blackout curtain on top and this still beats it. Will absolutely be recommending to everyone we know.
