False advertising from coles

False advertising from coles. Purchased a solar panel advertised at 350w and when it's arrived its only 170w. Refuse to acknowledge they screwed up and want me to cover costs of returns for a product they misleadingly sold

Coles click and collect charge you…

Coles click and collect charge you before checking if they actually have the stock 9 times out of ten I’ve now been charged per shop over $20-30 for items I later get notified we’re not supplied, then to try get a refund you have to spend so much time and they carry on like I am wrong, no COLES! You send me the list with pictures of the items and numbered of amounts of each item I chose then the total cost at the bottom, then I collect they never give you a paper receipt and we click and collect to save time not to then stand there going through every bag and double checking items then go on my phone and check that receipt to see if they are the same then check my pay pal or bank to see what was charged ! Fix it Coles all your stores do this, and your Yeppoon store click and collect the person wheels a trolley out to you and walks away doesn’t pack or have your items packed in bags nor supplies enough bags then you have to ring them to come back out to give you more bags!

Coles Partner Service Incompetent and Untrustworthy

I placed an online order with Coles (#181552804) and reluctantly paid the $11 for fast delivery by their "Partner Drivers".

Well the driver was supposed to come between 3:30pm and 4:30pm that day, and later I received a text that the driver had picked up my parcels from Coles and was on his way, so I waited for him to arrived.

After awhile I didn't hear my intercom ringing to let me know he was here so I just happen to check my security cameras and I saw a car reversing out onto the main road so I raced downstairs and low and behold there was my parcels sitting out front of my security door in the rain, no text message or ring on my buzzer to let me know he had arrived, you would think for $11 delivery he could of just pressed the damn intercom button to let me know he had arrived. (But obviously these drivers don't have much intelligence)

And to make matters worse there was over $50 of my shopping missing (7 items), and I can truly say there wasn't anyone else around, so either the "Picker" at Coles is an idiot and doesn't know how to pick orders or the "Partner Driver is also an idiot and doesn't know how to pick up orders from a metal box and read names or he is just a down right thief by taking my groceries, and getting away with it by not pressing my intercom and then probably stating later it could have been someone else that took those items.

And this is not the first time Coles "Partner Drivers" have been completely useless at this simple job, but this was definitely the last straw in placing any trust in this incompetent, useless Coles "Partner Drivers" service.

I did contact Coles Online about the missing items in question and I explained everything in detail and they said that I would be credited $50+ dollars, but I told them that I did not want that I just wanted my groceries that I paid for because I didn't want to pay more in deliveries, and so the person on the phone said that Coles would give me $20 credit for compensation instead and that they would deliver my missing groceries the next day by Coles truck. (#182123753)

I also asked them would that include the Curtis Stone BBQ Shears that was missing too as my credits have already been taken and they said yes, that they would place them in the order to.

Truthfully I did not actually believe them.

Later I checked my bank and surprisingly I was credited the $20 that they said they were going to give me, but I did receive a Coles notice stating that they were not able to get one of my items so I would only be receiving 6 items and the next day when the Coles delivery driver arrived 2 of the 6 items were missing one being the Shears. (surprising)

I was going to contact Coles again to tell them about the missing items as they still haven't reimbursed me for the item they could not supply which was around $14.50 and it would seem they still charged me for those Shears ($16) even though they took my credits, but I just can't deal with all the stress I have been put through the last 2 days due to some idiot not being able to do their job properly.

So my advice, NEVER USE the Coles "Partner Service" no matter how desperate you are, because they are incompetent, Illiterate and just a complete waste of $11.

And Coles are just liars, so always check your groceries and especially your bank account for discrepancies after using Coles Online.

I rate it a zero there was no help and…

I rate it a zero there was no help and took me 2hours to resolve my issue via online including phone call to the help for online orders. My delivery was sent to wrong address.. an automated error in address filling was the problem but I took the blame and there’s nothing they could help with other than to collect it myself … I’m new to the country and a bit sickly and no vehicle why I chose online order. Partnering company refused to pick up the order n Cole’s said sorry that’s all we could do. ??????! More than upset I loose out on groceries n to go out myself to get it. What a horrible experience!!!!!!!
Shop elsewhere if your sickly/ elderly n have a dissabillity… you will loose out if a automated error stuffs up a order

With the cost of living soaring, Coles is deliberately selling expired products!

Coles is the worst supermarket chain! They sell expired products and their Customer Care Team ( CCC) never respond to complaints!!! ( ive sent EIGHT complaints between 9 and 27 Dec and called twice), about one store continuously selling expired products but no action was taken! Every time i ask to speak to the Store Manager, he is never there! Their store at Brighton-le-Sands ( NSW 2216), un like a jungle!!! As to their CCC, i called twice and asked to speak to a team leader but all i got was «  We can’t put you to a team leader, we will just let them know about your complaint and leave it up to them to call you ». That was 10 days ago and im still waiting for their call but i know they wont call back coz watching Netflix is more important to them then resolving customers issues! Shame on you Coles!

Took my money but never delivered

Took my money for my online order, then on the day the order is supposed to be delivered, CANCEL the order and say they aren't going to deliver it?!!!! Online customer service just gave standard template responses and offered no resolution to keep a long time customer happy. Will never do my online shopping with Coles again, will stick to Woolworths. Woolworths would never do this to their customers.

Bad Customer Service from Coles Best Buys Online

Purchased 3 products with Coles Best Buys online, took a copy of the advertised product before purchasing. When the products arrived they were not as advertised so I requested return shipping labels to send back and a refund. Customer Service gave me the runaround for two weeks and changed their advertisement in the meantime to suite the product they sent. I emailed them a copy of the original advertised product and now customer service has ignored me for 3 weeks. Coles Online Customer Service do not want to help customers at all.
I was lucky to find a Coles Best Buy outlet in a Coles store near buy. The staff there were so helpfull. After showing them the receipt and the reason for the return they took the items back and credited my Bank Card on the spot. Thank you to the Coles Store Staff.

No delivery

Needed online grocery order as one week out from caesarean surgery with baby and two more children under 5. After all in bed, sat up late placing order last night, paid extra for delivery today... messages received order coming, delivery driver calls that order not there, poor guy waited 30 minutes nit getting paid, Coles Belconnen never answered phone after I rang many times, my husband went into store, no order, finally spent 90 minutes on phone waiting and to central office, total stuff up on order, was cancelled. Still receiving messages that order on its way. Won't ever order from Coles online again. Terrible service.

Is online shopping worth the headache

How do you rate 1/2 a star? I do online shopping, the instructions clearly state that Im in a wheelchair and the driver needs to knock on the door and hand me the groceries. Yesterday, the idiot driver, who obviously has a problem reading simple instructions, didn't knock on the door and left the groceries outside, for how long, I have no idea. After struggling for 30mins to get my bloody groceries inside, only half the order is there. I got to speak to some kind of duty manager, after getting the run around from Coles for one bloody hour, Immediately, he blames the driver for leaving the frozen part of the order in the freezer and promised that It will be delivered to me in the morning. Well, I rang Coles this morning and YES, they knew nothing about it, the message wasn't passed on, the "duty manager" doesn't know how to leave a simple message for the morning shift. After a few minutes I was promised, again, that I will get the missing frozen groceries delivered sometime in the afternoon and will be contacted at 11am and given an estimated time. It's after 11am, no one rang!

Do not order from coles best buys

Do not order from coles best buys. They sell you the product, then when it arrives NOT WORKING! they tell you to speak to the supplier, however you cannot speak direct the supplier, so you get the run around for days on end, before you have to end up disputing the transaction with your bank to get your money back.

Customer Service Lacking

Saturday morning at 9.30am in Coles Jamison and there were NO checkouts staffed. Long queues at the DIY checkouts (where you can't get cash out). Took me close to 30 mins to scan and pack my shopping, which would have taken a checkout operator 10 minutes. And I'm paying for the lack of service. Not the fault of the poor manager on the floor; poor management by Coles.

do not order online its a scam, they either dont pack majority of items, exchange with things not even close, or if you say delivery, they change it to pick up, and visa versa, this is so you have no choice but to cancel order, which you never received and they charge around $50 cancel fee, A MASSIVE SCAM, COLES ARE THIEVES

Coles delivered today

Coles delivered today, and again sent expired food, I went off them for a bit anyway from this issue giving them a chance, but now gone with Woolworth as never had this issue, this happens a lot I highly recommend anyone not to buy from coles, you pay high prices and get expired food, waste of money. Had to share as don’t want other families to go through this.
