I bought a pair of blondos 10 years ago…

I bought a pair of blondos 10 years ago and they are worn out but naturally so. I have bought two pairs in the last 3 years and both started falling apart in one season. I was walking in snow this year and my foot was drenched and frozen in no time, waterproofing completely broken down. Inner lining peeling and white socks covered in black bits. Terrible terrible quality now. Used to be a good Canadian brand now it's a trashy made in China brand at ridiculous pricing.

I would give 0 stars if a could

I would give 0 stars if a could. I ordered a couple different pairs of boots and returned the ones that did not work out via mail. I followed up about a month after my return tracking number indicated they had been returned to the warehouse. I got the runaround for weeks trying to get my refund. I highly recommend keeping all return tracking details and following up on returns to male sure you get your refund.

I went to lodge a complaint with the BBB but Blondo is not listed and so you have to enter a company address. I asked customer service for this so I could make this report, and they refused to provide it.

Additionally, the leather on the boots I did keep is already peeling after 2 weeks of use and I did put protector on them.

Awful all around. Seems like there are some shady business practices...how can a business not have or provide a listed address.

I do know they have been bought by Steve Madden, so maybe this is where the issues are stemming from.

Terrible company, terrible boots, terrible customer service : stay away!

Terrible company, terrible customer service, truly shameful. Bought a pair of winter boots online, received them December 4th 2025. On February 4th 2026, the plastic teeth of one zipper completely came off the zipper backing. Two months use for a 170$ pair of boots!! And Blondo's Customer Service reply goes as follows : "We would like to extend our sincere apologies for the unpleasant situation. Unfortunately, according to our policy, we are unable to further assist in regards of that particular order." Unpleasant situation? Apologies won't keep me warm this winter! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company that has no pride in it's products and does not respect the law regarding reasonable lifetime warranty. Two months! That's 85$ a month for these garbage boots.

Unprofessional Customer Service

I contacted customer service to follow up on my order, as it has been two weeks since I placed it and the status remains unfulfilled. Unfortunately, the interaction with the customer service representative was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If I do not receive valid shipping information within the next 24 hours, I will cancel my order. This experience has been very frustrating, and I regret not reviewing customer feedback more carefully before placing my order.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

On September 26 I placed an order with the understanding that if the boots did not work out, I could return them to get my money back. On October 2, I requested a refund. On October 3, I received the Canada post label and on October 4, I emailed asking for an alternative form to mail the boots out as Canada Post was on strike. I was told to wait because that was not an option at that time. On October 20 I called to once again request an alternative to mailing it out with Canada Post. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person I initially spoke to came back saying that I would receive a Purolator return label in 2 to 3 business days. I waited 6 business days and recieved nothing. I tried to call, but their number continually told me that I was calling outside of business hours when I wasn't. I emailed detailing my concerns. They responded saying to wait a couple more days and that they would send me a purolator return label. I waited. Nothing. I called again (had to find an alternative number to the one in the customer service email as that one was STILL telling me I was calling outside of business hours when I wasn't). I voiced my concerns again and again he told me that he would send me a label (this is the 3rd time). I told him I would wait on the phone with him until I got it in my email. He said it would take a long time. I asked to speak to a manager. He said I would have to wait a while. I told him that was fine. In the meantime I began to make another phone call to the Quebec government where one can lodge a complaint about a company. The second he heard me on the phone with them he passed me onto a manager and just as that was happening the purolator label was emailed to me. The biggest issue I have is that they were refusing to send me an alternative way to send my order back, but as soon as Canada post went on strike they quickly found an alternative to mail orders out so that they could continue to make money.

Change of Ownership, Slow Refunds

If you know this brand from their reputation before the buyout, you’re in for a bad surprise. I bought 4 pairs of boots to try on. All looked and felt cheap. None were made in Canada. Many were bonded leather (a thin skin of leather applied on top of plastic; will flake off easily).

I returned all via tracked mail and for an order of over $1000 had to followup myself 4 months after the order to receive the refund.

I did get the boots I ordered, the shipping was free for delivery and returns, they did look like the photos and when I emailed for the refund, customer service responded quickly and helpfully. It’s not a scam, but I don’t think this brand is worth your time and money anymore.

Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke

Totally useless customer service, not helpful at all and would rather talk to a brick wall then have to deal with them again. I will never order boots directly from them again out of fear of having to deal with them. I've never experienced such horrible customer service. Not willing to make admit they made a mistake let alone accommodate you after asking you to fix their mistakes....it's some bull.

I placed an order on December 7 and…

I placed an order on December 7 and have been thoroughly disappointed with my experience since then. Despite receiving no updates on my order for weeks, I tried multiple times to contact Blondo’s customer service—via email and even through Instagram—hoping for some clarity. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until two full weeks later that I finally received a generic email that provided no meaningful information about my order status.

As of today, I still have no idea what has happened to my order, even though my payment has already been processed.

Delays happen, and I can understand that, especially during busy seasons. However, the lack of communication and accountability from Blondo’s customer service is far worse than the delay itself. A company’s ability to respond promptly and provide clear updates is crucial, and Blondo has completely failed in this regard.

I would strongly advise anyone considering shopping here to be aware of the poor customer service experience. Paying for a product without any assurance or transparency is simply unacceptable. This has been a deeply frustrating experience, and I would not recommend Blondo unless they seriously improve their customer service practices.

Poor quality, lasted 4 months

I ordered the boots in November and wore them on a rainy day in March to find one foot wet. The sole of one boot is deeply cracked. Having paid $200 I would have expected that they would last longer than 4 months. I asked that the boots be replaced and customer service offered me a paltry 15% off as the 30 days for returns was up. Why would I purchase again?

Blondo boots have always been my…

Blondo boots have always been my favorite go to boots. Unfortunately, the quality has gone hill. The "leather" flaked off..can real leather peel?
I feel that Blondo may have become more of a designer boot and the quality of the craftsmanship has suffered. Personally, I'm not prepared to pay the cost for a fashion boot and will try another brand

I had winter boots from Blondo and I…

I had winter boots from Blondo and I loved them, they were the best boots I ever had in my entire life. So beautiful, gorgeous nubuck real leather, fur inside, decorated with the fur outside on top and along the boot, with some pretty buckles, so comfortable, completely waterproof and very warm and did I say so beautiful :). I had many compliments wearing them. Ever since Blondo is my favourite brand to buy boots. Because of that I just purchased Blondo boots again they are called Samira Waterproof boot. These are tall, beautiful boots not for very cold temperatures but for late fall or early winter. I am however going to wear them this winter, I got myself two pairs of very warm boot socks from Heat Holders and hunter thermal boot socks from Sail store, thats how much I love Blondo boots and want to wear them all season long. Why I am saying for early winter because the back of the boot doesnt have a lining but the front and the foot has it so tall thermal socks will solve this I think. Bought them online at Naturalizer and of course didnt know about the lining but will be keeping them since I dont have fall boots. They are too pretty to send them back because they are not meant for very cold temperatures like my first boots. Could’ve of course return and exchange for another boots but I dont want to. Love Blondo so stylish and such a great quality. Bought them at Naturalizer.ca 18 of August 2023.
