I was pleasantly surprised at how approachable the facilitators were. I am a larger woman and thought I would look foolish, what I found was a real sense of inclusion, understanding and sisterhood. It was delivered in a simple way and the technique to defend oneself manageable, for people of any age or ability. Thank you for an informative fun day will definitely come again. I think a class for golden oldies would be great 🙏 also need you in York

5 and half hours flew by. I did actually think, do I want to give up my Sunday. So glad I did.

Great days training. Despite my limited movement in my left shoulder and a birth defect in my left hand I was able to easily do the movements. If anyone is worried about whether to do this course or not, I'll say Do it. If you can move your arms (even a little bit) or stand on one leg for just one second... Sign up. It's fun, useful, & could save your life.

I was a little anxious and unsure going into this course as I had never done anything like it before. It exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone. The day was a mix of theory and practical, delivered in a friendly, fun and accessible way. Thank you.

I won’t lie, I was nervous going into the session - I wasn’t sure what to expect going on my own, but Rachael and Maddie managed to convey the seriousness of the session in a friendly and warm environment. Everyone was made to feel welcome, those on their own or in a group of friends, and I’ve taken away some skills that I think will make me more confident when I’m out alone.

I think everyone who feels the slightest bit vulnerable should attend this course. It was brilliant and highly recommended.

I did the full day self defence course with my 3 teenage daughters and I just can't recommend Blossom Training enough. The day was so informative and gave us real life practical defence skills, which I hope we'll never have to use. My girls came away instantly feeling more confident in themselves. One of my daughters has gone on to do their 6 week EmpowHer course and the transformation in her confidence is incredible. I truly believe our children should be taught these skills in school.

Rachel and Maddie are great, their class is very informative and engaging. I had fun and I've learnt useful techniques, should I ever need (which hopefully I won't!).
I would definitely recommend their classes to anyone, especially young girls lacking confidence.

An impeccable presentation with great interactive demonstrations of protecting oneself. The facilitators are amazing communicators. It’s very informative and I have lots of new skills to protect myself. It would be a fantastic workshop for corporate team building. Thank you.

Maddie and Rachel were great. They made everyone feel so comfortable as soon as we walked in. They were patient and understanding with everyone. So supportive and they're a great laugh. Thank you for providing us with so many useful skills and information!

Having knowledge of what to do should you be in a nasty situation is empowering.

The fact it is not confrontational and anyone can use most of the moves. I learned enough to feel more confident when out and about.

This course was the most fantastic experience. I learnt so much more than I thought I would and walked away feeling more confident and secure. Could not recommend highly enough.
