Absolute joke

Absolute joke. Have been an Air miles customer since 1992. 1 week before conversion, my account was suspended. The reason given was bogus; if someone truly tried to hack my IP address, everything would be an issue, not just Air Miles. Received new Blue Rewards number. Told to create a new email account with NEW IP address...NO. Created with existing IP so obviously no issue. Then told it's my phone number...same phone number for 20+ years. Now, they are telling me to change my phone number...or, use a friend's. WHAT ??? Being asked to risk someone else's security in order to access an account that has been in good standing since 1992 ??? Mailed both cards back to the President. ...what an insult/joke.

VERY USER UNFRIENDLYReceived the new BlueRewards card

Received the new BlueRewards card. Pamphlet said "no action required" that everything rolls over from Air Miles to Blue Rewards; however, it would not let me sign in under my valid Userid and valid Password. Tried 6 times and it said "something went wrong". Had to call customer service and they told me to enter my card number and reset my info. Then it worked. Their pamphlet should have said "RESET ACTION REQUIRED" !!!!!

Terrible rewards program

I'm not able to login to my blue rewards from overseas. Regardless if I use VPN or not. Since BMO took over it's getting worse. Best they could do after a phone call was to write a support ticket and call them in 10 days. I will just use all my points and cancel this card.

Flawed Transition from a Flawed Program!

Air Mles went downhill to the point of useless with the loss of Safeway and Shell and accordingly I let my account go dormant. I thought I would give the new Blue Rewards a try at least to redeem my current points with one of the merchants that is still in the program but ran into problems with them locking my account. They claim the only way to resolve the issue is to create a new account with a different email address. I like to limit my public profiles and don't want to do that. I would colour them black not blue!

All (previous) AirMiles (now BluePoints) gone

I was collecting (previous) AirMiles for many years when I was still in Canada(1998-2008), even recently in 2024 during business trip I collected some at Shell gas stations. Since the program changed to Blue Rewards the intentionally not advertised very bad changes took place. Eg. those now non-residents of Canada who cannot collect new "points" locally will simply LOSE everything. Got small warning Email on 8.July with deadline "for activity" (=collect new points) and that's it, all collected AirMiles will be irretrievably lost. It's a THEFT by this new greedy intolerant BlueRewards management. Btw. I still plan to go back to Canada but losing all collected Miles/Points by these thieves is not encouraging at all.
