Junk Fee

I have banked with this company for approximately 25 years. I made a withdrawal from my savings account because I needed to pay off a balance on a credit card. The following month I was looking at my accounts and noticed I had been charged a $3.00 fee because my balanced had dipped below $100.00 How insulting and petty this appears to a customer that has banked with you for 25 years. I assume they would have taken the fee off my account if I had asked. I chose instead to close the account. For the thousands of dollars that have passed through your bank on my behalf you chose to insult a customer with a junk fee. I guess you are charging me a loyalty fee or rental fee for my money. Bad move, I can't stand your bank anymore. Look around, there are other banks that don't nickel and dime their long-term loyal customers. Shame on you Bill Esrey.

Blue ridge bank has liquidity problems

Blue ridge bank has liquidity problems. I am trying to withdraw money from my account and they tell me it takes 6 months for them to issue a check. They have further delayed this by pretending they thought maybe I uploaded the wrong address when setting up the account. I assured them that I didn't and they said "okay, but now we must wait another 6 weeks because the process starts again because we weren't sure. " When I asked them if they have sent it I get vague replies about how they have so many checks to issue that they will be very slow to send mine. They are clearly out of money.
