Not responsible for damage to your car
Prior to bringing my car to Blvd Auto Body I visited their web site. I was impressed with their service offerings and customer reviews. Unfortunately, my review is not a good one for them. I requested some paint work done on my car. I had rubbed against an aluminum stanchion while parking in a tight spot. The lower front of my car just touched it and it left an aluminum-colored spot. Since I was merely parking, I was barely moving. Yet the aluminum stain was there. Upon inspecting my car for a quote, I was told the job estimate was $2,000.00. It included removing my bumper to make sure there was no damage to the car under the bumper. Although I doubted that could be the case, I agreed to that quote. A couple of days later (they had my car for 4 days), I got a call saying when they removed my bumper they broke the front grill on my car. They then proceeded to tell me that this would increase my estimate. That increase was an additional $800.00. My choice was to have that done or have no front grill.
As a business owner for over 28 years, I have never charged a client for any mistakes that our company made. We paid for our mistakes. Not the case here, sadly.
