I have got the insurance 4 times and I use it one time, when I needed it the assistance was pretty good, the process was ok and the service after my trip was good, I received a refund of my expense.
I have purchased coverage from BMI for several trips.
Fortunately, my last trip was no exception. I needed medical attention, and they assisted me promptly and clearly. A local doctor gave me a prescription right away, so I had no issues at the pharmacy.

I’ve been purchasing travel insurance from BMI for many years and the experience has always been excellent. Their service is reliable, straightforward, and gives me peace of mind every time I travel.
I was fortunate to have purchased a travel assistance plan. For Christmas and New Year's, I went to Germany. They treated me extremely well when I got sick. From the moment I wrote to them, they monitored me and arranged a telemedicine appointment for me, which was a relief since I was unfamiliar with the place. Medications were prescribed, and I felt much better the next day.
I am very grateful for BMI's travel assistance service, I have purchased it on my trips and due to different incidents I have had to use it, the WhatsApp assistance service is very good and the resolution and compensation of refunds too, it is the most complete product I have found in the market.
Our family went on a cruise for my parents' anniversary, and I fell and broke my wrist. Customer service told me what to do, and the medical crew put me in a splint. When we got to the next port, BMI had already arranged medical assistance. Thanks for helping me out.
We purchased health insurance for my in-laws, and recently my father-in-law developed a severe nerve compression issue. The pain was intense, so we contacted BMI through their WhatsApp chat. They refused to allow an in-person visit with a primary care physician and instead offered telemedicine consultations with their backend medical team (not actual doctors). After using the prescribed medication for a week with no relief, we reached out to BMI again. This time, they informed us that the case was closed and they would not provide further assistance. They also denied coverage for an X-ray, which costs about $50. It seems like this company is just taking clients' money and not delivering the promised services. Be cautious.

This company just a piece of crap. Who loot money from people and doesn’t even bother to book an in person appointment. My father was suffering from severe elbow pain. They denied further appointment saying it only covers for the first time. Now I am suffering paying thousands of dollars not to get covered for anything. They just find reason to deny your claims. Do not buy insurance from this company. They won’t cover even the primary care which it promises. Pathetic service.

I traveled with my mom and son last year and thank god I din't use the insurance, but the process to get the policy it was awesome and also the website is easy to navigate. Super recommended 10/10

Mother in law had fever yesterday, we called to seek for medical but was rejected because her cough started earlier
Paid over $800 for insurance and could NOT even use
My Mother-in-law was experiencing cold symptoms for two weeks and she was taking home remedies which she usually prefers rather taking medicines and I believe most of us does that instead going to hospital/ clinic/ Urgent care on day one of cold symptoms. Later she developed a cough which disturbed her sleep so we reached out BMI Travel assistance to get help with scheduling appointment with physician instead they rejected my request saying I didn't contact them within 24 hours of cold symptoms. Who in the whole world will go to Urgent Care for Cold on day one? Rather I should have lied to the customer agent saying my MIL started coughing jus today. This is the benefit of being genuine to people. I paid 500$ for 39 days of insurance coverage in USA and benefited nothing out of it. This is purely money laundering business they do and have hidden rules written somewhere in their document to reject our claims. I paid from my pocket to Urgent Care and pharmacy. Gold bless travelers to not get sick out of home country. I will never ever buy travel insurance anymore.
