Untrustworthy Brand with Poor Quality…

Poor Quality Products and Terrible Customer support

B&D is an unreliable brand with products that don’t last. Their so-called “customer support” is a joke—every issue seems to be handled by the same person, Alex, whose goal is to avoid accountability and dismiss complaints as quickly as possible. Instead of standing by their products, B&D finds every excuse to shift the blame onto the customer.

Consumer warranties exist for a reason, yet B&D refuses to take responsibility for a remote that has failed well before a reasonable lifespan. Instead of honoring their obligations, they push the burden onto the consumer, expecting us to spend more money to fix an issue that shouldn’t exist in the first place.

Customer support is dismissive and unwilling to provide a fair resolution. A reputable company should back its products and prioritize customer satisfaction, but B&D seems more interested in making excuses than actually helping. I strongly advise others to avoid their products.

I have the SYNCRO ATS-3V3 SMART…

I have the SYNCRO ATS-3V3 SMART SECTIONAL DOOR OPENER
After 1 year the device force a service by flashing light
The flashing light is not to stop and is ongoing 6times flash and again six times flash
I believe the flashing light is danger moreover if the garage has a step
I believe the ATA products are danger to use moreover for elderly or disabled person.
I am an elec contractor and installed gate and drive by my self. ATA or BND refuse to give me the code for resetting. I have done the service as required and like to reset.
I disagree to this bad behaviour to force a service, the garage is not longer to use with ongoing never ending flashing.
The neighbour came over and was asking if we send SOS because of hostage.
Thanks ATA for this odd product

Money making maintenance

Have been unable to electronically open the garage door, so finally called for assistance. None offered, other than booking a $199 service call. Went to the main controller and pushed the green 'up' button. Door opened and remote controllers now work. This option was not offered by B&D. Have had remote garage doors for more than 30 Years and never required regular maintenance. Now I have paid for an expensive door and appears it needs regular maintenance at a cost. Surely there should be a multi year guarantee. Look at other options.

Faulty Garage Door Installation

B&D performed a faulty garage door installation at my home, which they are unwilling to rectify. Unfortunately, I noticed this only after three years of operation (incorrect sizing will lead to premature wear and demise). They are refusing to rectifiy their shi..y work and maintain their maintenace guy would have been able to solve it. Maintenace guy was here and was perplexed how somebody could have ever done such a careless installation. Wrong sized door not solvable thru any amount of servicing...

Company doesn't bother to address defects in premium product

We ordered three garage doors from B&D (Dulux company) with premium wood grain finish, to replace the old B&D doors. The new doors were delivered with a badly deformed rubber sealer at the bottom. It was deformed due to the way how the doors were packaged for transportation by B&D. The sealer was later replaced by an authorised installer on our request.

One remaining issue is that one of the door panels is substantially deformed and it's clearly visible. The installer attested the defect and submitted his report with photos to B&D. However the company keeps saying that it's "within the norms", instead of replacing the defective panel.

We've learned that this defect has been happening lately in B&D doors and looks like the company is not interested in addressing its root causes.

Another remaining issue is that all panels are visibly bulging towards their center. The company again refuses to face the issue and at least send their specialist for assessing why that happened. Even the old B&D doors didn't have this issue.

We're paying a high price for a premium product but we've got a defective product and company's ignorance in return so far.
