Bobato was formed in 1992 when Mr Kadress Soobaroyen started to make ship models in a workshop in Vacoas. During this time the business has grown significantly and has built a large collection of model boats for customers. He established his own company La Flotte Ltd in 2000 and moved to a new premises at 53a, Sir John Pope Street, Curepipe, Mauritius Island. Over the years the company has created many Custom and Historical models. The company provides a high level of customer service. Mauritius Handcrafted Ship Models. We invite you to browse our extensive range of model boats, Marine Gift. La Flotte Ltee ( BOBATO ) is a renowned company having in excess of twenty years experience. We have a dedicated team of twelve craftsmen manufacturing model boats. Our team are specialists in building model boats and moulding pieces and turning brass and wood for such items as cannon, winch, deadeye, anchor and figurehead.
