Poor service. Posted a birthday gift to the wrong address. They’re only response (after a disappointing chat session and three emails) was to refund the postage. The print quality is okay. The photo book spines have weird, white tabs that can’t be removed. I use Shutterfly in the US and love it. Was hoping for something close in the UK. Not these guys.

An absolutely excellent company. I ordered a total of 4 albums following my wedding. Not only was the software the easiest to use out of all the companies I tried using, it was also very quick service and the products were very high quality at a very affordable price.
Their communication after order was also very quick and helpful.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I just used Bob Books for the first time and I cannot say how pleased I am with the books. I used the Bob Designer desktop app on Windows 10, which gave a great deal of flexibility on layout. It took a little time, as you would expect, to discover what you could do and the best way to do it but once ready the whole process for uploading your photos and paying for the book all takes place within the desktop app.

I went for an expensive option with lustre photographic paper (300gsm) with lay-flat binding and the result is absolutely magnificent with perfect reproduction. The pictures seem better and sharper than the original. The cover with the optional extra gold lettering looks wonderful as does the back of the book with the generated map with photo pins.

I will absolutely use Bob Books again and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else.

Unlike many photo book services, Bob Books has a dedicated desktop software app that beats the limitations of browser based editing tools. They have a variety of book templates, shapes, sizes and paper option as well as versatile page templates. Extremely easy to use and better still, the quality of the printing is the best.

Something to say about their customer service: it's brilliant. I recently has a slight problem with a book order (very unusual) and after sending in some pictures they are printing a new book - no quibble, no fuss at all. Great service.

Let me start by saying that my working life has been spent in the printing industry working in the preparation and production of artwork, films and printing plates. The Bob Books production software was simple to download and once opened easy to follow and create a book, upload of the finished book was exceptionally fast and the ordering process easy and quick to complete, production and delivery were very fast with the finished book in my hands in 6 days. The book is a very professional product well made with very high quality print. I can only commend the company of an outstanding product.

Ordered a book on 28 June - despite contacting the company several times it still has not arrived - 17 days later. Get a different story with every contact with the company. Nobody will take any responsibility or give me a proper answer.

The software was easy to download and putting the book together was relatively easy - it took me just 3 hours. HOWEVER I then tried to buy two copies and pay. After 2 hours of hopeless interaction with their 'chat line' I still couldn't make any connection they kept on telling me Error 3.7.2 but couldn't tell me what to do. I am totally frustrated - I have a good internet connection and a very new MacBook and am pretty competent on the computer but their helpline was useless.

Ordering a large, high quality book for a very special occasion, I was a little wary about using any online publishing platform. I chose Bob Books as the reviews here and in other places seemed very favourable and being based in London I thought I could always go around there and kick some a***if the product were substandard!

However, I must say, the online publisher was very easy and flexible to use and the customer support was excellent with any queries I had. The Icing on the cake was that though the expected delivery was 10-12 days, the finished book arrived in 2. It was very carefully and protectively packaged and the book itself was beautiful.

As it was my first experience with this type of service, I had no expectations, but I am happy to say that these guys were really fantastic. I really recommend them and will certainly be doing more through them!

First time using Bob Books and can highly recommend. I created my wedding album online (as opposed to downloading the software). It was very easy to create (one thing that would have made it even easier would be the ability to drag and drop pages but I could work around that). Communication was excellent as was the delivery time.

My wedding album arrived today and it is even better than expected. I can't wait to print my next one.

I've been using this company for years and can't recommend them highly enough. The software is pretty easy to use and the finished product looks great. Delivery is always quick and efficient.

I have only experienced one or two (minor) issues which have always been resolved immediately, so can vouch for their customer service too. Overall - great.

Easy to use software - new updated version more complicated than earlier versions which was great and service great. Sadly not so good this time. Prices are high and the post and packing charges VERY HIGH considering that they send the expensive books by second class post with no way of tracing! Paid for books that have not been delivered, no idea where they are and I have been told I have to wait 'a few weeks' to see if they turn up!
Sad to see poor customer service reigns supreme.

Have used twice. On this limited experience five star rating richly deserved. 1- user friendly software (I am luddite). 2- clear help on importing artwork/photos. 3 - fantastic customer service: i called on three occasions and every time the phone was answered immediately and helpful advice imparted. 4 - items delivered within stated timeframe 5 - last but not least, absolutely stunning, beautiful products. The only downside is the price which is high but I went for the highest quality binding/paper and the largest size, so I knew what I was signing up for. Will certainly use again.
