discovered a flat tyre on a Saturday ( and I have a tiny Mitsubishi Mirage ) store apparently closed on a Saturday at 4 PM….( arrived at the store at 3:02pm.
my partner walked in and asked about a small tyre repair and the 2 guys that were ‘ chilling, doing. nothing, and on their phones’ said straight up NAH. 🤬
don’t bother people !! if that’s customer service ……we’ll I’m going anywhere but here !

Shop was empty mechanics were free and they still made me to wait 3hrs just to fix one punchered tyre. Supper lazy staff i was at shop whole time watching them enjoying around the workshop.

I have been a very very loyal Bob Jane Bondi Junction customer for over 5 years. I’m an Uber driver and have sent 2 other drivers there.
I phoned at approximately 1:15pm today Friday 12 August 2022. I was told they were flat out. I told them I was a loyal customer. They said bad luck but too busy. I didn’t like the tone. ( Charles did not answer the phone- some rude clown !!! )
Never fear. Phoned Bridgestone Mascot. Also flat out but said they would “ fit me in “. Just be there before 4pm.
I am now a devoted LIFETIME Bridgestone customer. Bye bye Bob Jane. Isn’t it funny how one person , with a bad attitude, wreck a business.

Went to Bob Jane T-mart Wagga to get 4 new tyres . I went back to get the car to be told that all 4 wheels are severely buckled and I need to replace them ASAP . This was strange as I’ve had no vibration or anything to indicate such an issue .
I took the car to another reputable tyre company in Wagga for a second opinion and they took video of the tyres up and spinning and not a buckle or wobble to be seen . When asked why I was so concerned I said I just had the new tyres put on and was told my wheels were terrible. I didn’t even say the business I got them from and he told me exactly where I’d been and I’m not the first person to come for a second opinion after being told exact same thing.
I contacted the regional manager who was rude and arrogant and told me in no uncertain terms how good this worker was that did my car and hand on heart he is a good soul and wouldn’t do me wrong .
I then took it again for a third opinion to be told AGAIN my wheels are fine .
Disgraceful behaviour from a so called reliable company who was obviously giving me misleading information in order for me to spend more money .
Will never return to BOB JANE AGAIN 😡

Dandenong Tmart is shady as, Neil and BobJ the dodgy brothers. Highly recommend you avoid these people and the brand they represent, they charged more than twice the agreed quote and promised a refund of the blatant overcharge, nothing received. They failed to refund the overcharged price even after escalation to BobJ head office, no response nor refund was received. STAY AWAY, FIND A BETTER SUPPLIER, there are others with price match / beat guarantees that operate ethically.

On the 2/4/22 I brought and had installed 4 brand new Goodridge KO2 tyres for my Nissan Patrol at Shellharbour Bob Jane in preparation for our Easter long weekend away. I drove the car home, happy with my new tyres and parked it in the driveway for about a week.
I needed to go to Wollongong on the 11/4/22 so I took the Patrol. I drove on the A1 freeway where the sped limit is 100 km per hour. I turned off the freeway and continued to Wollongong. As I was driving through Keira Street, I felt a slight vibration through the steering wheel, then out of no where my front passenger wheel fell off while doing approximately 40 km per hour. I was stranded at 4pm, peek hour time on a busy street out the front of a pre school. When I had calmed down after this terrifying experience and shock, I rang Bob Jane Shellharbour. After I had explained what had happened, the first thing he asked me was for the k's on the car and then apologise and asked me to organise a tow truck, to take it to their Wollongong branch. Where I refused and told them, since it was their fault, they should organise it. He then told me he would send someone from the Wollongong branch as soon as he could to assess the situation.
1 hour and 2 phone calls later, 1 guy arrive, even though the Wollongong branch is only 5 minutes away. Then I had to help him put the spare tyre on the car. He could only put 3 wheel nuts back on the spare wheel as the other 2 studs were cross threaded. He then asked me to drive it to their Wollongong branch through round abouts and traffic, 5 mins down the road. When I got there the Wollongong branch guys asked me to leave the car with them and told me not to worry that it, it would go through Bob Jane Insurance and the car damage (Front guard, passenger door, under carriage, rim, tyre and brush bar) would be fixed without any further inconvenience to me and he apologised that this had happened. I then, had to make my own way home.
As this was 4 days before the Easter long weekend, we understood that this would not be repaired until after the break and this now, had ruined our Easter 5 day Camping trip at Big Hill. - Which was the reason we have the 4 brand new tyres originally installed. We had to cancelled those plans and to still get away we paid $1200 for a holiday home to stay 2 nights down the coast instead.
The car sat in their shop until I called them on the 26/4/22 and asked what what happening with the car? The manager then told me they were going to do this, as a out of pocket expense. It has been my experience, that this now means , they will fix it as cheep as possible with no warranty for the life of the repair. Which I was not happy with, as they told me it would all go through their insurance. This then compelled me to go through my insurance company to make sure the repair job is done properly. I then had the car towed to another smash repairer on the 27/4/22 using my insurance companies preferred choice repairer and the car has sat here ever since, as parts have been hard to find due to covid etc.
We were fine for a few weeks without a second car, but as time went on we defiantly needed our second car. We decided to ask for a loan car, we contacted right to drive so they could organise a loan car on our behalf. When they tried to contact Bob Jane Tmart, the manager told them to contact the Regional Manager, they tried to call him multiple times, when he finally returned the call he told them to put it in an email - which he has ignore. Multiple emails have been sent.
We have not had a car for 9 weeks. We have had to organise other means of transport, when the second car has been needed, running after the kids' etc (we are are family of 4.)
So, in short, they almost killed me, ruined our Easter break, forced me to go thru my insurance, because there was technically no third party, have left me without a car for 9 weeks +, as they refused to talk with Right To Drive, so that I could get a loan car. Have left me to do all the leg work and I have had no contact from them.
I am definitely not happy and would not recommend them to anyone. I cant believe how they have ignored the situation and given no thought to the damage and costs now incurred by us, by their mistake and carelessness.
Very unhappy customer.

Well I booked my car in to have my Tyers balanced and rotated in Epping I waited over a hour to have them done no phone call to say thay had finished and then to pick up my car driving home my warning light came on please check Tyers pressure so had to ring them to be told to come back thay will check Tyers pressure thay still didn’t after that and had to reset my Tyer pressure that thay had for got to do I am pretty pissed off with the service I even brought new tyers from them just and was charged $75 to do the tyer and rotation of the tyers bob Jane has now lost a customer

Had a couple of tyres replaced at Bob Jane Bentleigh at 12 months I had a nail in my tyre and went to repair it. I was told my tyre was bald and needed replacing. I argued that it wasn’t possible as I had replaced it a year ago and have hardly driven the car due to the Covid restrictions. They dismissed my argument and blamed it on wheel balancing, alignment etc. will never return to any of their stores. The manager was cocky, dismissive and arrogant.

Bought 4 new Yokohama tyres from Oakleigh Store. After 3 months, went back to store to get the free service. On both occasions underable to get it done. Advices that their alignment machine inoperable. Not Happy and will not be back to store for future tyres and services. Poor after Sales service

If i could give zero strars i would. I drove into Bob Jane tmart Cairns with no issues. Had 4 new tyres fitted, Drove out and my abs traction and 4wd light came on so took it straight back. They had the errors removed. Again they came back on, To which I was told it was a "coincidence" and to take it to a mechanic, which I did. The mechanic examined and said the speed sensor had been damaged. I called and spoke to the manager about this to be told he would look at cameras and get back to me which he never did. I called again today after weeks of hearing nothing. On receiving this call they would accept no responsibility and argue that its not possible to access or damage this part doing a tyre change which is completely ignorant and incorrect. A simple chat to a mechanic and web search shows it can and most definitly does happen but still the blame pushed back onto me. Management was rude and dismissive he did not want to listen to a word I had to say or show any accountability or sympathy for the situation that they had put me in which filled me with anger and disappointment. Im now I'm left with the bill to have this issue rectified with no support from anyone from this establishment. I will never return to this business or any Bob Jane T-Mart after the treatment I have received from josh aswell as head office.

In August 2021, I hit a pothole that damaged 2 of my tyres, so I was in desperate need of replacements.
Due to needing a rare-ish sized tyre, availability was limited for what I wanted so I had to compromise - do I get a cheap set for the time being? Or do I spend a bit extra for something of good quality?
Eventually I found a set of Pirelli Dragon Sports in 245/40 R19 at Bob Jane Elizabeth, which was a bit far from home. But the manager and sales rep both made strong recommendations and I needed something ASAP. They understood my situation and were happy to put together a deal for me - $1200 for a full set with a balance and alignment. A very happy outcome as I’ve seen this particular tyre and size advertised for up to $399ea.
I admired the tyres straight away, noticing improvements in both handling and road noise. Fuel consumption had increased by about 10% for the first 2,000km or so, but that has now gone back to normal. A few nights ago a man stepped out in front of me on a 90km/h road. It was very dark and I saw him at the last second - the quick swerve-and-correction was absolutely effortless and I’m incredibly thankful that nobody was hurt. I owe this to the tyres.

PS - can I still use my 6 months service voucher even though it’s been almost 9 months? I’ve done just over 5,000kms with the new set.

I had a flat tyre that needed replacing. I was so impressed by the staff at Bob Janes on Scarborough beach road. I dropped off a tyre before they were officially open (45 mins before) and they were very welcoming. Craig was so genuine and professional. It felt great to have "real" customer service where you feel like they appreciate your business. Very efficient - so much so that I find myself going out of my way to give them a review. I recently took my classic car to Bob Jane Bendigo for new tyres. The car was gifted to me by my late father.
I specifically asked the manager to be a little careful with the centre wheel caps, which he assured me he would.
However, somewhere during the fitting and balancing process, one of the wheel caps has 'gone missing', or damaged, as I was handed only three.
When I asked for the fourth, I was told it was probably on the wheel, or I had lost it. Sounded strange, I mean why would you put 1 wheel cap on and hand back three to the customer?
I've emailed the manager and are yet to receive and apology and most importantly some form of compensation.
Customer service, Due care and skill, no where to be seen
My advice don't risk your vehicle in the hands of these guys
