Fantastic company
I am very impressed by this company. Their engineer Ivo did a fantastic job installing new Honeywell thermostat/programmer. And he was very polite and explained all the things very well. Their customer support staff (I am not sure of ladies on the phone) were very cooperative. Connor (Manager) also was very helpful answering all the questions I had. Thanks for a great experience.

Don't even bother booking a boiler…
Don't even bother booking a boiler service. They keep on canceling and rescheduling appointments. You are not a priority as you see. It is not the first year it is happening we faced the same problem last year. Completely unreliable. Good luck

Boiler Replacement
Conner, who fitted a replacement boiler for me was great - punctual and friendly, and very good at his work. There was a temporary problem with a leak but Conner managed to sort that out very quickly and fully, I was lucky I had him doing this job.
I was pleased with my service from Boiler Breakdowns and would use them again.

Walked out the door and disappeared
I was surprised to receive the reply from Boiler Breakdowns that I was rude and abusive to their engineer. They obviously using this as an excuse not to do the job and if a 6ft plus engineer is in fear of a 5.5ft 70year old then he is obviously in the wrong job. The company is unprofessional. The engineer also lied. He stated he was going to phone Valient to get the part numbers but never returned and obviously did not phone anyone except his office to complain about an old lady who wanted her boiler mended.

Our customer service advisors are on hand to book in jobs, they are not engineers and never advice on how easy or hard a job is going to be.
Our engineer arrived on site, felt that you were rude towards him and left the property. It is company policy not to tolerate abuse towards our staff. Management spoke to you on the phone and advised there would be no charge for today’s visit and that a quotation would be prepared to carry out the works, as the job was more complicated than expected. You were also advised that we understood your frustrations, that it wasn’t a straightforward fix, but that the engineer wasn’t to blame for that.
You left this review later the same day of the visit, quotes can take up to 2 working days to prepare, so we were well within a reasonable amount of time to get back to you.
All the best in finding a suitable company to carry out the works in future,

Very professional service
These guys are very good. Daisy and Isabella made sure all was well organized, and communicated frequently and on time. Andrew the engineer was very experienced and gave good advice. We used Boiler Breakdowns to replace our boiler and cylinder 2 years ago, and having their regular support is so much better than the service the large corporations provide. All in all a very responsive and professional service. Thanks again.
