Would give 0 if I could

Would give 0 if I could, broken their contract to deliver.
Will not ever use again, they need to check what suppliers they use... Certas are rubbish

I placed an order for 500 liter's…

I placed an order for 500 liter's boiler oil on Saturday 28th February. Boilerjuice charged me £320.11 and I made the purchase with my debit card. I saw the money left my bank the following Tuesday 3rd March. I thought I was safe, I had made the purchase, they had taken on the agreed money.
On Thursday 5th in the late afternoon I had an email from Boilerjuice. 'Order Cancelled' ...That was it! No explanation or indication or information as to whether or not it would be delayed or resolved or if maybe I could be placed on a waiting list. Tried calling but couldn't get through. The option was there for a refund , because money is tight and I needed the oil, I thought I had better go elsewhere. Which I did and ended up paying double.
As there is someone vulnerable with health issues I made this hard decision to pay out double. I wrote to Boilerjuice for a better explanation but still not forthcoming. So now I feel they have breached their contract I made with them. nThey blame it on the local supplier but didn't even explain who that wa\s. But that is superfluous as it was with Boilerjuice I made the purchase. I really hope their is some government help or perhaps Boilerjuice refund the difference I had to pay elsewhere. If they do, I may continue using their service, if not and they leave me (and others) in the cold, then I would highlight to anyone else that may use their services to take this and other's experience in mind. If Boilerjuice don't help 'fix' this situation there will be many who will never use this service again, starting of course with myself. I felt my treatment by this company was disgusting!

Horrendous service

Horrendous service. Waited in all day for delivery to have it cancelled, then have to requested refund as they want to keep towards a future order. This was my first and last order.

LATE DELIVERY AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

My delivery was cancelled and the text notifying me did not give a rearranged date. Chased Boiler Juice who simply gave excuses for the supplier and told me they couldn’t do anything more.
Eventually got oil delivered a week late causing me severe inconvenience. Requested compensation and was offered a paltry £5 by the supplier. Complained to Boiler Juice a number of times by email as they do not take complaints over the telephone.
They declined to compensate me and quoted some spurious T&C’s. Said that they should at least refund their “service” charge of £12 because of the awful customer service I received. This too was declined.
I am persisting with my complaint but they have now stopped responding to my emails.
Absolutely awful customer service and missed delivery dates mean I will never use Boiler Juice again and would advise anyone against using them too.

Left without Oil

The system BoilerJuice use to find suppliers based on price means that the supplier chosen is not obliged to deliver the oil to you. I have had repeated issues where the oil is not delivered leaving me without oil and having to get an emergency delivery often at 50% more than the original cost. There is no come back on BoikerJuice or the oil supplier, they just say sorry and leave you with a bog bill and no oil. Do not use

it couldnt get worse

for anyone reading this review with the intention of signing up to the connected app to make your life easier as the oil is monitored and delivered by them with you having control over the app so you can see what is going on for peace of mind dont just dont do it !
firstly your prepaying for oil and they can charge what price they wish for it and send more than you will use tell them you use 500 litres a year they try and charge you for 1000 litres not the 500 agreed secondly the monitor doesnt update automatically they update so not sure how that can be accrurate for even ordering and should you have the absolute cheek of deciding you will use another delivery company as they are over £60 more expensive (mostly a hidden service charge )then your app wont up date at all and are told 'just go out and dipstick in and put the new reading into your app then in 72 hours well update it '.not really the stress free monitoring i was sold into having that im also paying for . then youre told well we tied you to a contract we dont have to fufill our end you agreed to it .erm no i agreed to stress free monitoring not dipping my tank evrytime and changing it myself .
so youd think if you spoke to a manager not a script reader it would be better nope cant do that either you have to just wait for them to call you so when will that be ?.............well it could be in a few days maybe
honestly they are misselling overpricing and could fix a sandwich let alone any problems just avoid the go elsewhere i recomend youre own monitor that doesnt need dipsticking to update and value oils they are far cheaper faster deliveries and drivers are pleasant and read any notes given

Sharp Practice and won’t use again!

I received today an email from Boilerjuice offering a discount of £25 on a pre Christmas too up. I checked the fuel level and thought I would go ahead, and take advantage of the discount. I went online and entered all the details as asked. When it came to entering the discount code it was rejected, and said volume order was too low!

I have looked at their original offer and found nothing saying you had to order a certain amount, so I tried again. Once again at the point of purchase it said that the discount code wasn’t available as the volume order was too low!

It gave me a phone number that I could call, so I rang it. I spoke with a young lady who said that the £25 saving was only on orders over 500 litres. I was not sure if I would get 500 litres in my tank, so opted for just 400 litres. I said to the lady that I couldn’t see anything in the email to say that, to which she replied that it was usually in the small print at the bottom! I have looked again, and have even used a magnifying glass! I personally still cannot see anything about the fact you need to order 500 litres, or more. I find this kind of thing where companies hide things tucked away in their small print, to be dishonest and sharp practice. I told them as much, and that I won’t be using them again.

Oil deliveries failed multiple times

Ordered oil from this supplier. Easy online ordering system, but is where it ends. It appears they have no control or even communication with their suppliers. They took my money and provided me with numerous delivery dates, all missed. In the end I called them and demanded my money back to go somewhere else. They didn't seem surprised and told me they have done it. Will have to wait and see if this actually happens or is another missed promise.

Truly terrible service...

Truly terrible service...and if you call them the first thing you hear is a horrible recording saying that they will not tolerate abuse etc....I suspect they have to put that on as they get so many unhappy customers. First of all they did not make it very clear that their price excluded VAT, then They did not order the correct amount of fuel from the delivery company.....when I queried it I was told, rudely and very offensively, that I was wrong, they had ordered the correct amount but my tank was full so the ordered amount could not be delivered.. They did not refund the money due to me. Having it made it clear I did not want to deal with them ever again - and wanted my refund, they have, a week later, without any further correspondence, and contrary to my instructions, not only delivered the extra fuel but even more - and yes, there was room in the tank! No doubt they will expect me to pay. This company are, in my opinion, underhand, inefficient, rude non transparent.

Service Charge Scam on every Order

Boiler Scam. They try to undercut others by 1p per litre then in the fine print apply an IT service charge of £12 equivalent to 2p per litre on a 500 litre drop.

Scam, poor ethics. Can be late delivering too. Better and cheaper service just ringing around. Don’t lose your local delivery companies or there will be no competition in the future.

VERY POOR SERVICE AND NO CUSTOMER CARE!

My 85 year old mother ordered oil over two weeks ago, but she wasn't actually aware how low she was and ran out after 9 days. We chased Boiler Juice, who are supposed to give priorty to elderly/vulnerable and yet they said there was nothing they could do unless order was late. It is now 2 days late! Really seems they do not care! My mother is now very unwell and having to sit/sleep in the one room we can keep warm. There is absolutely NO customer care!

OK if it works

They're OK, if things run smooth. The problem is they're only as good as the suppliers they allocate to your order, and there's not much they can do if there's a glitch. We ordered in plenty of time, and the allocated supplier waited until the very end of the 2 week delivery window, and then abandoned delivery on that day. They said our drive was too narrow. But, we had specified a smaller tanker, and that size tanker has been successfully delivering to our house (and others on the same road) for years. So, we ran out of oil, and the only thing we could do was cancel the order and try to find another supply, at short notice. I ended up having to ferry heating oil to our tank from a depot in 25 litre containers to see us through to when we could get a new delivery. Whatever I saved using Boilerjuice isn't worth the hassle.

Absolute waste of my time never again!

I been a customer of Boilerjuice for some years now and after my last failed order with them I haven’t ordered in a while. I decided to give them another go as they were very competitive on price this time. Placed an order, received confirmation from them and the delivery agent.
Day of delivery came, I waited until 4pm to chase it as it was getting on, the delivery agent said they couldn’t talk to me about the order because I didn’t order direct and to go back to Boilerjuice. After calling Boilerjuice they confirmed my order had been cancelled for that day by the agent but no reason or scheduled redelivery was given and that I should call back the next day for an update.
It was at this point I asked why if they knew my delivery had been cancelled why they didn’t notify me asap? And shouldn’t they update me the next day instead of me chasing them. The agent blamed the delivery agent and the delivery agent blamed Boilerjuice.
My theory is that due to the sudden cold snap the delivery agent got behind in deliveries and the first thing to get dropped is 3rd party orders and priority is given to their own customers. It’s not the first time I’ve heard of this and it’s common practice I’m sure.
I run a holiday let so to be let down again is the last straw for me and I will not use Boilerjuice again no matter what the price it simply isn’t worth it. I guess the reviews speak for themselves. My advise go somewhere else as the service is very poor and to make it worse now they want to charge you for it!

Feel Ripped Off

Ordered 500 litres and paid a significant premium for the privilege of next day delivery vs a week later - c12p a litre. Never arrived, and now coming a week later. My refund - no not the 12p a litre (£60) it would have cost for week later delivery - just a mesaily £11. Shame on you Boiler Juice and I'd recommend you avoid as if you get any problems they do little to help

Boilerjuice failed 3 times to deliver…

Boilerjuice failed 3 times to deliver domestic heating oil despite assurances. Each time they came up with excuses. Their level of customer care is abysmal. I am a 65 year old cancer patient who has been let down three times and left in the freezing cold for 14 days due to the continued incompetence and complete lack of care by Boilerjuice. They simply don't care.

Late Delivery - No update

Ordered 24th November, delivery date specified on or before December 2nd. No notification from them, stating that the delivery would be late. I had to do all the calling. It is now December 4th, and i still have no notification of a delivery date. They have attempted to blame the third-party supplier, but that is their problem. They took my order and invoiced me for it, so in my mind they are the supplier.

Boiler Juice cancelled my order but took my service charge

placed an order for 600 litres of heating oil - on behalve of my non-profit making registered charity- with Boiler Juice, order no.4581158, the delivery was needed quickly so i paid an extra premium price.
Boiler Juice confirmed the order and delivery date, and took my money. Then Boiler Juice, after having the order for 1 week, went on cancel the order and cancel delivery on the day oil delivery was due. At that time was waiting at the delivery premises and I was very much in need of oil to prevent local community rooms becoming cold in the event of running short of oil.

Boiler Juice neither consulted with me nor informed me of the cancellation until after it had cancelled the contract, no explanation was received.

I was left to chase around the Boiler Juice "service !" telephone number where the only response I could get from its agents, when asking to speak to a senior manager was "the system does not allow us to pass on your request for 2 days".
I'm flabbergasted with this inadequate service, as are the Lynton Community whom I serve.

The contract between me and Boiler Juice was properly formed but Boiler Juice failed to perform it's side of the contract. It's failure caused me in excess of half a day's lose of time, and a lot of anxiety about how I was to achieve heating for a public community, mainly elderly persons, and how to prevent otherwise avoidable boiler servicing in the event that air from a low oil tank was sucked into the burner if the oil level got too low.

In addition to Boiler Juice's failure to perform the agreed contract it has charged me a service charge for your complete lack of service!

I require a senior person preferably the CEO in the Boiler Juice organisation to answer this email and return the service charge immediately.

In addition I require that Boiler Juice offer to pay a minimum compensation of £150 for the time that I have expended in buying higher cost, rearranging delivery to get an alternative reliable fast oil supply, and for the inconvenience and anxiety Boiler Juice caused.
That monetary sum to be donated to the Registered Charity which I serve.

I request that you immediately acknowledge receipt of this email and look forward to hearing a detailed response and offer of the requested compensation within 7 days.

Read reviews first

3/1/2023 - Placed order for oil. Paid extra so that it would be delivered on the 6th January.
4/1/2023 - Received an email stating that the oil would be delivered on the 4th. When it was 5.30 pm, sent an message via their webpage asking for an update.
5/1/2023 - Received an email stating that the oil wasn't delivered because "the driver ran out of time".
6/1/2023 - Received an email stating that the oil would be delivered today. When nothing had arrived at 4.00 pm., I rang the customer list and talked with Kai who stated that the oil hadn't been delivered because "the driver ran out of time"!
6.1.2023: Received an email stating that the oil would be delivered today - third time lucky.

I would suggest reading the reviews before ordering.
