It's a total rip off.

Booked Bond Cleaner Au for small 2 bedroom unit end of lease clean.
The unit was largely already cleaned by myself with the oven, kitchen cupboards, shower, laundry, walls and floors washed and all but one fan cleaned before cleaners came through.
That left one fan, pantry and bathroom cupboards to be wiped out and 6 white venetian blinds and their windows to be cleaned and carpet in 2 bedrooms.
Regardless, Bond Cleaners Au charged me for a full clean.
When they inspected the unit, I was told that I needed 21 walls @ $25 each (half of those would be no bigger than 1 1/2 meters wide and some small narrow areas under windows) to be cleaned. This was completely unnecessary and I refused to include this is my package.
Each blind was $45 x $45 to be cleaned.

I was pressured to pay up front and because I was short on time, i paid $705 before the job started.
To be fair, I am angry with myself for paying before the job was done because the whole procedure from the beginning did not give me any confidence.
Other reputable companies had told me never pay up front.

When I returned to the unit, it was obvious the blinds and windows had not been cleaned, leaving very visible dust, fluff and even some mold on ALL blinds.
The 2 loungeroom blinds were pulled up half way and at slanting angles where he had pulled on the cords and got them stuck so just left them hanging at different angles.
The windows were not cleaned leaving me dumbfounded as to what the cleaner had done in the unit despite the neighbours saying he was there for hours

I tried numerous times to call the cleaners but no response.
I then had to spend 3-4 hours cleaning the windows and blinds as the realestate was coming 9am the next morning.
Since making contact with the company and providing photos of the windows and blinds, they refuse to refund ^x $45 for blinds because I had cleaned after they left.
Their cleaner told them, I said not to clean windows and blinds. Certainly NOT true. I wanted something for my $705.
There is no way I wanted those people back in the unit..........I needed my bond back.

Chaotic experience. Pressured to pay before work was done. 2nd cleaner allocated (1st one fell ill) further outsources but does not monitor that the work gets done. After chasing up when house was half cleaned (at 6.40pm, with my rental inspection at 8 am the next morning) with all their equipment in the house and no carpet cleaning started, he said he was on his way. When he didn't show, my partner called. When my partner used the name he used for this job (he admitted he uses different names for different jobs), he hung up. When he decided to speak to us, he asked the address! (So he was not on his way). We cleaned the house ourselves and then had to wait around for him to arrive to return our key and remove his cleaning kit.
But because I cleaned the house, Bond Cleaners are refusing any refund (I have only asked for partial for house cleaning and the full cost of carpet cleaning - done myself after inspection as my letting agent is very understanding) as there were no adverse findings on the report.
Complete scam. Avoid at all costs.

Don't let yourself be extorted

The company seems to contract work out with zero quality control. The cleaning was abysmal, and the reclean involved spending hours pointing out what was obviously dirty. I ended up spending many hours cleaning to an acceptable standard afterwards

Terrible customer service. Waited almost 2 hours for a no show. The office kept telling me 20 minutes until they arrive to finally find out they were on another job. Complete waste of time and terrible service. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

We booked a bond clean with Bond Cleaners.au weeks in advance for our move-out from a Brisbane apartment. We were given a confirmed 9:00am start time and organised everything around that ,cat pickup, daycare for our daughter, and clearing the apartment so the cleaners could get straight to work.

By 9:30am, no one had arrived. We called the company and were told they couldn’t get hold of the “service provider”, which is when it became clear they use subcontractors. After several phone calls, we were eventually given the cleaner’s number, and she told us she wasn’t prepared to do the job for what she’d been offered by bond cleaners.au even though our written quote from Bond Cleaners.au was $680 for a full bond clean including carpets.

In the end, the company cancelled the job and said they would refund our $50 deposit, but we were left with no bond clean on our move-out day and had to scramble to find another company at short notice. The stress and inconvenience were huge for such a time-sensitive service.

Based on this experience , poor communication, no-show on the booked time , I would not use Bond Cleaners.au again and wouldn’t recommend them to others.

Bond Cleaners.au failed to provide a proper bond clean, and the real estate confirmed the property did not meet bond standard. Despite promising a re-clean, they did not collect the keys, did not attend, and provided conflicting explanations. With new tenants moving in, I had to pay another cleaner. They refused a refund even though they didn’t complete the service. Very disappointing and stressful experience.

This company is absolutely pure 💯 % rip off for a bond clean,so much so much was missed plus with extras that I also paid was also unsatisfactory with multi emails including pictures of the back an forth that this company refuses to give me a FULL REFUND, because I didn't receive my Full BOND back from the Agent because I had to pay more money for someone else to redo this BOND CLEAN i do not recommend at all this company for any any cleaning at all what so ever this whole experience has been very very unprofessional and was stressful to an say the least this shouldn't even get a 1 star

Worst experience ever! Won’t give you a paid invoice as they want to charge you more on the day. They simply subcontract the work out to subcontractors. The subcontractors then lie to you. They didn’t even do half the job. Refused to let me speak to a manager. Refused to give me a partial refund when I just wanted to finish my job first. Did not communicate well. Feels like a horrible scam. Use at your own risk. You can’t find or leave reviews for a reason. Joined TrustPilot so I can
