We have had an excellent experience with using Bonfire. They offered us great advice on their range to help us choose the right product and the installation was completed quickly and the team were professional and friendly. We now have a lovely fireplace for the cold weather!

We were considering ordering a…
We were considering ordering a fireproof mantle in an interesting vintage wood style.
There was no installation as part of the order, but it could be arranged locally. It was mentioned in the mantle description. When I phoned customer service, our postcode was not one that the kit was sent to,
We must find an undescribed installation kit to match our order at over £400.00.
Our order was not moved on to payment due to our delivery and installation doubts.
Now am adding an update:
Before Christmas, I focused on ordering the mantlepiece. Now! let's do it NOW!! Depending on the stated 2-3 weeks for the order to be delivered. When I got to the payment (of £400.00 +), My instinct had to check the delivery and installation by phoning the company twice. So, our order was not moved on to payment. Not because of the product, but because we could not get it. Later, I had to go two clicks + on Installation to find out that the company has been delivering to the UK for 20 years, but not now (as I discovered) The device for fixing can't be posted either. I needed to know this earlier, more directions, much earlier, please.
It was appreciated that the company phoned me, after my review and gave me alternatives to check out. I hope you will make alterations to your site. I can't improve my rating, after all, I still haven't ordered anything. If the mantles are too fragile to be transported, will they stay in one piece at home?
Be aware that we can use computers in Scotland, in Dundee, and can like and want to buy products made by Bonfire. We would appreciate knowing that we cannot buy from you earlier on your website as we are out of your delivery range.
e.g. Made to order: estimated 2-3 weeks. NOTE: Our delivery range is limited for some products like the non-combustible mantels. Check Home/Areas We Cover before ordering.
Which does not mention the product I was considering ordering.

This needs emphasis, wherever it is written, I can't find it, I have already said. For customers outside this radius, products are available for local store pickup, as noted at checkout.

The pricing of the product reflects the supply of the non-combustible beam and an easy-fix installation kit (device for fitting) that comes with the mantel!, as outlined in the product description.
Additionally, we provide installation locally as we’re based in Reading and unfortunately do not provide installation services in Scotland, which we discussed over the phone.
It’s also worth clarifying that no order has been placed or cancelled?
Regarding delivery, our service is limited to areas within 200 miles of our Reading, Berkshire showroom, as stated on the product listing under Delivery & Returns. For customers outside this radius, products are available for local store pickup, as noted at checkout.
