For anyone reading reviews in following comments please be fully aware that any comments professing to have a positive experience about this company are lying. This company is the worst company that I have ever experienced, they will leave you stranded, and they will ignore any inquiry you make. We booked with them and had to pay twice, once the them and a second time to a company that actually got us to our destination.

The company overall is excellent when it comes to driving the customers to their destinations. Sometimes they do not come on time, and you never arrive to your destination at the time your ticket says you will arrive. The bus drivers are all so kind and if there is an issue the customer service is fast to reply to help.

My agent was able to help me really well. I will say that i did try to connect with an agent over 4 times throughout the day, and was only able to do since so their is a lack of support when actually needed.

They have the worst service. All they do is cancel my trips! Sometimes without notifications. They also black and removed my Comments from the Facebook account. Instead of communicating with the passenger. They also ignore. All complaints. I filed one months ago and no reply.

its a scam, i would have rated it in minus. I booked a rider early morning at 7am from YYZ, the bus did not arrived at the location mention, they provided some kind of tracker to track the bus which did not worked, there is no way to connect with customer service, i waited untill 8 30 am, but the bus did not arrived , when i asked for the refund through online I got the response nearly after a month, that they wont provide any refund,
stay away from this service better pay extra and book other services

Fast and efficient

One of the worst bus service I have seen across the world!!! I will say its a scam!! No punctuality, No AC but they will charge you for all of the services!! I did raise a request to them and it's been 10 days now since I have not received any revert on my request yet!!

First trip was canceled. Second initially delayed by an hour. Old bus. Smells like fuel and plastic.

Many many things went wrong. My first time taking BooARide specifically, I usually take Onex or Mega Bus through busbud. This time, the only time that worked for me was offered by BookARide, but honestly NEVER AGAIN. I took the “bus” from Toronto to London, the bus was initially delayed by 30 mins. Then while waiting, I get a call and it’s the driver saying he’s there but instead of a bus it’s a small white van! For starters, this has been the most uncomfortable ride of my life. The van has no AC, not enough room as it was a full van, worn down, dirty, and smells like gas. The driver… is a whole other beast! This guy speaks on the phone about car parts for a business or something, eats, fiddles with things, all while driving! He swerves back into the lane every 2 seconds! He drove the entire way with the window open!!! Driving at 60-80 kmh! Stopped in Kitchener and went to get burgers and smoke, came back and ate on the way. This trip has been hell, literally 4+ hours from Toronto to London!!! Do yourself a favour and take the inconveniently timed bus but DONT take this garbage.

Horrible horrible. Booked a ride from London to the airport and the bus never came. They never called, answered my calls or addressed the ticket that I created. I later found their email that they sent on midnight before the ride with the cancellation and that was it. They didn’t make sure the customer saw the email. Don’t use bookaride if you need to make sure to get somewhere. I almost missed my international flight.

This company should pack up shop. They’re not running a real business, they’re running a joke. I am yet to ever be on time whenever I take a book a ride. In addition their buses are old, dirty, outdated, and rarely have AC. Took a ride from Ottawa to Toronto, 5.5 hours no AC on a very hot and humid day.

We had booked tickets from Ottawa to Toronto for 8pm. They rescheduled it to 11:45pm. When we tried cancelling it, their website doesnt have an option, nor does the number ring, nor do they respond to emails or webforms.
The 11:45 pm bus arrived late by around 1:30am without any communication from bookmyride. We were just standing outside in the rains without any confirmation.
The bus reeked of urine and we couldnt rest on the ride.
On top of all this the bus couldnt start because it was out of fuel which was another 45 minutes.

We reached 6:30 am next day instead of 12:50 am because of bookaride. Never again will i book this

If you want a cheap, unreliable, portapotty smelling bus ride, then book a ride is for you. If you have any problems with the bus not being on time you will not have any support from customer service. I waited 40min for my bus and was so nauseous on the ride because they don’t clean the washroom. It’s honestly a health concern breathing in fecal/urine matter for 5hrs.

The driver is extremely rude no respect at all. The man is dirty filthy he drives like a maniac he shouldn’t be on the road

BookARide changed the pick-up time twice at the last minute. I had to go to the airport on that day, but they never showed up. There was a 4-hour delay in their pick-up. I emailed for a refund two weeks ago, but have not heard from them at all.

Booked a ride and never seen the bus. Was waiting outside for 2 hours and nothing. No customer support. Never answer to my emails. The wost company I've ever seen.

Horrendous customer service. Don't make the mistake of booking with this scam of a bus service. I had to cancel a ticket, for which I was given a voucher to redeem. When I tried to redeem that voucher at a later time, I was told the credit had been applied, so I proceeded with the purchase. IT CHARGED MY CARD A SECOND TIME for a total of $124 lost. I ended up cancelling the second booking to try and get a refund for the extra charge but they simply gave me a voucher again. It didn't let me redeem the initial voucher until I booked about an hour before the departure date; clearly giving limited access to me because I was attempting to use the unused credit. The second voucher has been sitting unused in my account for a month and a half and I have been reaching out to their emails to absolutely no avail. DONT USE THIS SERVICE. Will have to go through my bank to report as a fraudulent charge to get my refund.
