Very shady way of doing business.

Booked a car for our stay in Naxos, Greece. The instructions for the pick-up were very vague. When we arrived to pick up the car at the port, we couldn't find anyone. After searching online and making endless phone calls we finally found a contactperson who said it was a misunderstanding and he was waiting at the airport. He come to the port immediately to give us the car and the car was quite good, that's why we give 2 starts. But it felt as if we were being scammed and only because we were very persistent (and my girlfriend speaks Greek) that we could get the car in the end. Be very careful with this company.

Terrible service far away from the Milan (Malpensa) airport. Poor communication — we had to wait two hours for the driver at the airport. No one mentioned that a minibus would take us to and from the rental site. When renting, they required the car to be returned clean, washed, and vacuumed, otherwise they would deduct the cleaning fee from the deposit. Unprofessional attitude and careless, rude staff!

Could not connect by phone, internet, text or email!

It was easy to rent the car. I did not understand why, if I am of Colombian nationality, I had to pay a higher price.

A voucher in Spanish for a client who booked in English seems to be perverse and unhelpful. What are you trying to hide?

Everything functioned perfectly and quickly.

I booked a rental car online with Bookingcar. Paid for breakdown assistance and full insurance cover at a total cost of approx €125 for 7 days, most paid up-front and the bal of €6 payable on collection of the car. On arrival at Goldcar desk was told that I had essentially no cover and had to pay an additional €226 in insurance and airport taxes. Goldcar claim that they get nothing of the €125 paid to Bookingcar and so it seems that all they do is collect money for insurance. Cannot see how people are giving them 5 stars for such an appalling and very expensive service.

The reservation was easy smooth and the car was clean and very easy to drive, also economical

There was an option for a discount offered of 5% and I got a coupon number. This number doestn't work and I should contact the service.
