Excellent transport rental service in Europe. When I was on holiday in the Czech Republic, I needed a car, since a taxi is expensive and the bike is slow. So I found bookingcars on the Internet. Rented from Centauro, BAD Rental Car Company. They don't even deserve 1 star. No matter what the complaint is; it's always the same story they try to justify the overcharge by stealing from you. They are crooks. Read the complaints people have about dents, gas charges, toll fees, tires, locks, etc. Two or more customers pay for the same damages. They invite you to write to them but they rather have bad reviews than keeping their loyal customers. They use a standard reply, scam bags, shame on you. Their terms and conditions is a big excuse, first of all you cant read everything at their desk when you pick up the rental, would take the whole day. When they tell you need money for gas - full to full and you fill it up they should give all your money back. Leave the Via Verde alone, refusal of their device means that customers will be responsible to pay their own. Employees are stealing money from tourists left and right. Never had any complaints from other companies rented from in Portugal. Tried scam bags for the first time because they were a bit cheaper but it was not worth the headache of now trying to recover all my gas money. They reply to reviewers with the same excuse (standard reply) instead of settling with their customers for a lousy 40 euros as a toll admin. fee and pay tolls that already have been paid by the customer to justify keeping admin. fee. At their desk the agreement was refusal of toll device. They leave device in the car you rented from them without your knowledge. This is called violation of privacy of what you agreed verbally with them that you would be responsible for your tolls. Enough is enough, if I would live in Portugal I would bring them to court like most people do. They don't care about their reputation they rather be scamming tourists. Clean up your act and be honest with your customers Centauro. I would suggest that top Management investigate all employees working for the you. They are doing a lousy job. Bottom line this company is dishonest.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. I strongly advise against using this company.
I booked a car and they failed to send through voucher, so I had to contact them hours before my flight.
They failed to find me a ‘suitable alternative’ as promised and tried to sell me an inferior car at a more expensive price. I had no choice and had to book it.
It’s left me fuming - worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. DO NOT USE THEM

As a cool designer, I would do everything quite otherwise. - That everyone will remember the portal. The site is gray and joyless. I didn't like it.
