Verry good website
I found a book for medical school, it was a verry good price, delivery was verry quick and it was like new. New it costs 70€, here i found it for 10€. I'm verry happy

Almost half of the selling price is lost through commissions and VAT
You have to overprice your books in order to get a decent price in the end. The commissions and deductions are enormous. I have sold for 13 euro and got 7,2 euro paid.
Apart from that, the entire process from shipping until payment is too long.
I would not recommend this site.

Here’s what I noticed:
• You listed your books on October 9 and 4 sold immediately.
• Our commission was always €0.98 (plus 21 cent VAT which goes to the government). With our commission we can provide the services that make selling books secure, scalable & hassle-free.
• You priced your books well below market value. E.g. "Fantastic Mr. Fox" typically sells on Books in Belgium for around €8-12 (on Bol now priced €17-30), whereas your price was €2. By taking into account costs and adjusting your prices slightly, you can maintain a better margin and, like many other sellers, create a nice side income. VAT ON SHIPPING COSTS
At the end of the line, this is neutral for the seller. For example, if the buyer pays €3.39 for shipment, we cover your (discounted!) shipping label (€2.80 + €0.59 VAT = €3.39). The VAT appears in your payout summary in the unified VAT column, which may be confusing, but the buyer does fully cover the shipment cost.
WHY DELAYED PAYOUT?
Your books were delivered on 18/10 and payment was released to you on 4/11. Our delayed payout system keeps transactions secure (zero fraud cases since 2016!) and ensures a relaxed selling atmosphere. With a bit of breathing room after each sale, buyers have time to receive and review their purchase, sellers can focus on adding more books and our team can support any issues smoothly—making bookselling a truly hassle-free experience.

Buying and selling are great. The only thing is that the emails were in French between the Netherlands and the Flemish part of Belgium, which are both Dutch-speaking regions.

I love buying on this site because I have learned that *most* of what I want is available here, and it feels great to properly support local and circular initiatives while actually getting what you want!
Also while totally unnecessary, local pickup is also a really cool way to meet some like minded people.

Fantastic platform
Fantastic platform, I think! I could easily find English and Russian books there, also interesting categories and book diamonds of different sellers to train my Dutch. Payment, communication and delivery just on top, fast and no bugs. Plus it was satisfying to buy a second hand book to be able to give it a new life :)
