I wish I could give no stars. It's a scam. Books ordered and never received. Then they have the nerve to say apply for a refund through the credit card company. Disgusting.

It’s a scam, they answer initially pretending to have sent the order so they delay it foe enough time so you can’t file a credit card dispute, all calculated scam!

Still waiting for books or refund from NOV 2022!

I POSTED A RATHER NEGATIVE REVIEW LAST WEEK , BUT I HAVE HEARD FROM THIS COMPANY NOW , ON INSTAGRAM , AND THEY HAVE OFFERED TO SEND THE BOOK I ACTUALLY ORDERED ...AND APOLOGISED TO ME ..GOOD SERVICE IN THE END.

I ordered a book for my daughter that she needed to help her with her university assignments on October 11th 2022, no book came, no refund and still waiting. A SCAM company, total rip off, other buyers beware.

Order never arrived…I requested refund…The email is now not working…

Ordered a book which never arrived. Made contact and was promised a refund. Refund never arrived and subsequent emails weren’t responded to. Don’t part with your money.

Absolute scam. Ordered paid for, but never delivered. Received BS correspondence from the team over several months repeatedly claiming to rectify the issue. Now their website has been taken down. Highly disappointing.

LONG STORY SHORT: Do not use this site unless you want to get scammed and your money stolen from you. For me it was $50, but for others much worse.

I was really hoping this site wasn't too good to be true, but alas, it is. I looked at reviews back when I ordered my book (JULY 2022), and they were all positive so I went ahead and ordered it. After not receiving it for over a month I contacted customer service who assured me it was on the way. A few weeks later - still no book - so I followed up and was told that a replacement would be sent to me. This did not happen, so I requested a full refund and was promised I would get one in 5-7 days. Conversations went on like this for months, they really did seem like they were trying to fix it on their end so I stayed in touch. I did not contact my credit card company because I was promised I would get a refund or a replacement.

Fast forward to JANUARY 2023 I started sending them emails that were no longer friendly. They still promised I would receive my book, then eventually blocked my email so I could not longer send them anything.

Paid for the book and never received it. Now the correspondent email doesn't even exist. SCAM!!!!!

Ordered and paid for the book, never received it. Exchanged several emails with a certain George. Now it appears that the email address no longer exists... It's terrible how they can cheat people. Gang of criminals!!!

Ordered, paid. Nothing received. No one responded to my requests.

I also would like to rate -1 if possible and I wish I had come across the Trustpilot website earlier.
Very same thing happening to me - ordered last year in October, never received the book, emailed in January with the reply from 'Paige' to check whether anybody else took the delivery on my behalf, otherwise they would refund or resend.
I now emailed again - email bounced back being undeliverable plus website not to be found any longer.
Thank you for the tip, I did complain at UKICC, at least that made me feel a little better.

Sadly Book Porch are scammers. I have been waiting since last August 22 for a book.

They lie, telling you you'll be refunded. You won't.

Get in touch with your bank to report and hope to receive your money back from them. Plus, report to Trading Standards: by Googling ‘Report to Trading Standards’. You can report through Citizens Advice and UKICC (the UK International Consumer Centre).

They have either gone bust or it was a scam all along. £50 order in October never arrived. No order and no refund.

Ordered a book, not received it nor a refund after many writings .

Having read everyone’s reviews I too am in the same boat. They did keep in contact coming up with all sorts or excuses and telling me they had issued a refund and if I hadn’t received it to contact my bank. Naturally I did and nothing. I have emailed today and got the response that this email address is wrong. Is there anything we can do to get these issues resolved in this day an age people can’t afford to be scammed like this. I ordered my books last year for Christmas.

I just read all these reviews and it happened to me also. I ordered a paddington bear for my son in October, but never received it. They said they would send it again but again, I didn’t receive it. Today I sent another email, but I received a Delivery Failure Notification.
