Bookswriter is definitely great for a casual reader who doesnt write novels

Bookswriter is definitely great for a casual reader like me who can’t write but wants to put the imagination written in text. Bookswriter offers various writing AI models— i specifically liked how deepseek works but theres a lot to improve on models because it generates duplicate scenes per chapter beats; and now that fatcat model (a bookswriter.xyz own ai engine on beta) I find myself just waiting for 15 minutes to generate the actual text… i hope they fix it though! I like that bookswriter.xyz keeps me off my vices for a while (cause i am honestly getting addicted to it) it writes better than most ai writing apps. It generates human-like dialogues and detailed actions. Thanks bookswriter.xyz team!

My first impression

Been using this for a week now and never seen any website which writes story with this much details and has so many models and tones to choose from. Only thing bad about this is that there is no subscription option and you need to do the promotion in order to get more credits.

Still giving it 5 star, because you can write upto 60k-70k words (around 20 chapters) with just one credit, which is really amazing.

One of the best platforms I’ve used

One of the best platforms I’ve used. I hadn’t written in a while, and it helped me break through writer’s block and just get started again. What I really like is how interactive it is, it uses AI in a way that still makes you do the creative work, coming up with the story and figuring it out as you go.

It’s easy to see why so many people speak highly of it. Just wanted to add my voice to the praise.

The best tool for "Pantser" writers who need to become "Plotters."

I’ve always been a Pantser (writing by the seat of my pants), but that usually leads to me getting stuck halfway through a book. I started using BooksWriter.xyz to see if it could help me add some structure to my chaos, and the results have been fantastic.

The standout feature for me isn't just the AI generation, it’s the Chapter Beats and Outlining system. Most AI tools just give you a block of text and hope for the best. With this platform, I can map out exactly what needs to happen in every scene. It allows me to bridge the gap between a vague idea and a fully fleshed-out chapter by setting specific "beats" for the AI to hit.

It basically acts like a high-level project manager for your novel. I was able to take a 3-sentence premise and turn it into a 2-chapter outline in one afternoon. If you struggle with finishing what you start, the way this tool organizes the flow of a book is a total game-changer. It’s definitely moved from being a toy to a permanent part of my writing toolkit.
