I love my Champion clothing
I had ordered several Champion clothing from borderfree. I have had great experience. I got email confirmed my order and tracking number. Everything is great. I still waiting for my second package. I am so excited.
I do not know a thing about the package.
Bought a bag a month ago, the 26th of october Borderfree marked the package as "shipped". From that day i do know NOTHING about it. No detailed tracking, no e-mail, no information at all. 24 days of nothing. I used this very service 4 years ago with the same shop and everything went smooth (in 8 days from the payment i received my bag!). Sadly, if you try to contact the customer care this is the reply: Thank you for contacting Borderfree.
With regret you have reached an unmonitored mailbox. I've asked the shop, they gave me the unmonitored mail to contact. I think i've just lost 3 hundred bucks.

I had to use Borderfree to place an order with Savage X Fenty twice now....I placed a return from my last order which they charge you about $40 to do. I received an email confirming my items were received and refund to be processed within 3-5 business days, although after a month since this email was received I never got the refund. So I called the number listed for customer support and the first guy sounded like he was struggling with the system and then hung up on me! So called back answering the same questions yet again and then told they had to transfer me to another team to help and it disconnected. After this happened a few times with poor/unprofessional customer support I admit to first ask if this was "borderfree customer support" they said yes, so I said no need to transfer me then and gave the breakdown yet again on the fact that I haven't been refunded. She looked into and said we can't find these items so can't do the refund, call back in three days. I was shocked, said I have the email confirming all had been received but she wouldn't do anything for me. I had to report them to my bank to get the refund which I informed them I had no choice at that point because waiting to call back and go through that again wasn't customer service and that I will no longer use their services.

Hey borderfree, thanks for buggering up my birthday gift by sending me two dresses that were meant to be sent to a man in Denmark, instead of my tote from LL bean. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. I did not wait two bloody weeks and more for my package to be delivered by DHL, only to find that its disappeared and these two dresses appeared instead. My item had been swapped at the distribution centre and only God knows where it is now. I can't even contact you to tell you this. Thanks for ruining everything.

Ordered from Nordstorm via Borderfree express mail from USA to Lebanon. Parcel recieved faster than expected and in perfect shape. Reading all these reviews below after placing my order truly freaked me out.
BORDERFREE + POTTERY BARN Total SCAMMERS
On August 16, 2021, I ordered 2 bar stools from Intl Pottery Barn and BORDERFREE is their appointed shipper. 1 bar stool arrived damaged and I returned with their promise of an replacement but then was told the refund was issued on Aug 30. I have been trying to get a refund on the damaged item till date, and have been sent round in circles by both BORDERFREE and POTTERY BARN and still no sign of refund. They owe me SG$716.70 (US$530). It's DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
It worked perfect for me (from Germany)
In September 2022 I ordered Tommy Bahama to be shipped from US to Germany twice, despite initial reluctance due to Borderfree´s bad reviews. Both orders arrived perfectly well packed and in timely fashion, 2nd order arrived three business days prior to estimated delivery time. DHL tracking worked perfectly too. Prepaid taxes and shipping fees seem fair.

I used Borderfree to make a purchase with another merchant. Borderfree received my payment (EUR 90), as confirmed with the back over two weeks ago. However the merchant never received the order from Borderfree. When I contact Borderfree they insist they cannot help as they are only an intermediary, and that the merchant will need to resolve. This is impossible since the merchant never received the order. Despite numerous attempts to explain this, and even just to ask for a refund, Bordrefree continue to provide the same response. It's like dealing with a zombie.

In August 2020 I ordered two TRUE RELIGION items via BORDERFREE. Kept the T-shirt, returned the jeans. Have proof of posting and receipt. Have spent over a year trying to get a refund on the returned Jeans, and have been sent round in circles by both BORDERFREE and TRUE RELIGION and have not received a refund. The actual content of my emails is ignored as if it's being read by an algorithm, and my 'ticket' being closed without resolution. I have finally given up as I have spent literally hours chasing the approximately £100 they have stolen from me. PAYPAL were absolutely useless when I asked them to help and also closed my ticket unresolved. Avoid all three companies. Pay by your credit card direct. Barclaycard have always been brilliant if I've had any issues.
Zero Customer Service
Ordered from catherines through borderfree. 6 items ordered, only 5 items delivered. Have emailed catherines 4 times about the issue. Occasionally, I receive a reply after weeks... that is irrelevant to tge issue of non delivery of 1 item. I will never be buying from any stores through Borderfree ever again. Not worth the angst and time lost.
TERRIBLE SERVICE
TERRIBLE SERVICE ! I returned some Saks merchandise, and received a vague email saying the return was cancelled. I had to actually CALL THEM to get the money back on my credit card, even though they had received the merchandise. First they told me it was going to be done in 5 business days. The money didn't appear back on my card, so I had to call and wait in line for more then an hour while being transferred from one agent to another (with background noises such as dogs barking, people banging pans and pots, and even roosters singing away) until I got transferred to someone who confirmed the money would be put back on my credit card within 3-5 business days. I am NEVER shopping at SAKS anymore. There's plenty of good companies offering excellent service - I will gladly give THEM my money. Not SAKS or BORDERFREE (which is actually NOT FREE as the name implies since I won't be reimbursed the duties). TOTAL SCAM

Unbearable delivery time and high fees
The delivery takes too long and fees are too high. This time, I ordered express shipping and paid extra $20 for the service because I could not bear the usual 3 weeks of delivery time. Nothing has been changed. Is there any other way that I can purchase from US without going through Borderfree?

Ordered close to $1000 worth of stuff from Nordstrom. They use Borderfree for international shipping to Australia. Quite big items. The date range they gave for expected delivery was spot on. Some things arrived 2 weeks later with final delivery at 2.5 weeks. Small hiccup with payment (they undercharged paypal even though info and amounts correct) but easily and quickly rectified. Replied to emails, sent confirmations. Can not complain. Wonder if some of these reviews are more to do with the company you ordered from and not Borderfree
Don’t panic about bad reviews
I live in the Isle of Man and ordered 2 shirts from New York on 5 July. I got an email from Borderfree on 13 July telling me that the items had shipped and giving me the DHL tracking info. No money was taken off my card until after shipping. They arrived today. Little bit longer than I expected getting here but I’m very happy with the service.
Stay away from anything Borderfree
Ordered SavagexFenty in May and it is now middle of July and the only form of confirmation I received was that my order has been received. I haven't received a shipment update or any form of contact from Borderfree or SavagexFenty and when I check the tracking system it only says my order has been confirmed. Rih Rih and her team needs to figure out a new shipping process because this is ridiculous....
Horrible experience
After 8 days i am still waiting for my "return authorization" email.
I've tried 6 times since June 21 to reach back out and each time i am connected to an agent, no one responds on the other end of the call.
Additionally, they cancelled my first order, then i reordered and that came and then two (2) days later, the cancelled order turned up.
This has been the worst experience returning an item.
